Piratedave84 Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 OH MY GOD!!! Truly one of the most amazing technic MOC I've ever seen! You must have put a lot of hours into making this masterpiece! Pirate Quote
DLuders Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 Стилзкин = Stilzkin = Magnificent! Mahjqa's Flickr page has more about this incredible MOC: http://www.flickr.com/photos/28134808@N02/4611677366/ . I'm really impressed by the TORQUE it generates to rotate the bridge. Quote
Xevus Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 Стилзкин = Stilzkin Well, yes, but once again, it rises the same question :) The only Stilzkin that google knows of is a moogle from Final Fantasy. Quote
Legorski Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 I am absolutely amazed! Great Job, You just made my Day! I'm Lovin It! Quote
Wingcastle Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 How amazing, exelent, beautiful, nice, a construction! I am very very impressed. Quote
Enilder Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 wow. how many PFs have you used to create this? something totally new. love it! Quote
mahjqa Posted May 16, 2010 Author Posted May 16, 2010 (edited) Стилзкин or Stilzkin doesn't really -mean- anything. Stilzkin Inc. is a fictional company I made up, which deals mainly in offroading and military hardware. It's Russian because I like the Russian design philosophy. When you make something, make it solid, reliable, and easily fixable should something go wrong. Otherwise, your sorry ass will freeze to death when car/truck/tank breaks down. The vehicle has three PF XL motors, and one medium motor. Edited May 16, 2010 by mahjqa Quote
prateek Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 What in the world? How do you come up with this stuff?!?! This is amazing   Quote
DLuders Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 After you show your unique MOC to your fellow AFOLs in The Netherlands, folks may want to build another one just like it, or something like this (from http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/sys...d/wolverine.htm ) Quote
Commander_Rob Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 Wonderful MOC, I absolutely love it. While I am not usually interested in Technic creations, but large vehicles with amazing functions like this one always get me. I am totally fascinated. I guess I should invest in PF and try building a tank or something. Quote
dugmence Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 (edited) great MOC, i really like how you made that bridge...if i see correctly, you put 2 pf motors in the bridge, but i can't figure it out, where are the batteries... Edited May 16, 2010 by dugmence Quote
Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted May 16, 2010 Eurobricks Emperor Posted May 16, 2010 Just watched the video and I'm speechless (barely ever happens ). Simply amazing! I'll have to show this to my colleague who is very much into Technic and Mindstorm (but not really an online guy). Quote
Jurgen Krooshoop Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 This indeed is truly PHE-NO-ME -NAL !!! Quote
Rayskull Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 There need to be national awards, it should be televised. That's an amazing achievement! Quote
Jonas Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 One more applause for the author of this excellent MOC. Moreover, on your Brickshelf page I noticed that you were the author of the amazing Da Vinci flying machine - one of the best animated technic creations I have ever seen. Quote
Optimus Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 Incredible, it's so complicated and impressive. Great work! Quote
tkf Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 Unbelievable. After seeing the end part of the video i understood that it wasn't captured from the first time. It must be enormous work to build it. How much time did it take to build this? Quote
mahjqa Posted May 16, 2010 Author Posted May 16, 2010 Two full days, plus some minor adjustments to the tracks and the lifting arm. Quote
Frequency Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 great MOC, i really like how you made that bridge...if i see correctly, you put 2 pf motors in the bridge, but i can't figure it out, where are the batteries... i don't think so it looks like the are some LAs in the superstructure of the bridge to hinge it in and out and these are driven by a disconnectable linkage at each end of the bridge which the tank slots into to transfer the drive so all the motors and batteries stay inside the body of the tank very very cool Quote
kidcharm Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Great work! ... It's amazing how much you could accomplish with that little motor. It really hung in there with the bridge being deployed! Quote
warpug Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 You should change your name to Da Vinci! Truly a marvelous piece of engineering and design. Quote
