flavus Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 Hi at all. Another AFOL from Germany. This is my fist entry to this forum. I hope you like it. The merchant in the baot tries to dock at the little footbridge. A soldier is supervising the scene and the trader comes out of his little house with the gold in his hands ready to make a bargain. The helper does what he is supposed to do. Quote
Captain Becker Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 I love your entry Favus, i love ur little merchant boat, you would have any tutorial how to make it? Captain Becker Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 Nice MOC. The stern on a row boat looks great. Quote
the_green_avenger Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 (edited) That little ketch is adorable! looks like it could use some rigging... You got a nice little story line behind it too! (always helpful) Great MOC! And welcome to the forum! Edited May 21, 2010 by the_green_avenger Quote
flavus Posted May 21, 2010 Author Posted May 21, 2010 thanks for your positive critique. i made a picture to show you the parts i used. but i have to admit that my boat is just an improved copy of what i found in a lego ideabook... Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted May 21, 2010 Governor Posted May 21, 2010 This sail boat would make a nice LEGO set. It's a pitty the LEGO Group hasn't released sets based on smaller vessels like this. Quote
cooky321 Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 I absolutely love everything about this scene! The build of the house is beatiful and the small boat is just amazing. Very well done! Quote
BrickPerfection Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 Hmm even if not everything about that tiny boat has been your idea; I still love it's colozrscheme and use of pearl gold! Thanks for sharing and the extra pics of that boat! The house feels somewhat too small though! I also think it's wall could be somewhat more "plastic", by for example using tiles on top of SNOT converters... Just an idea though. Quote
