May 24, 201014 yr No, I suck at that kind of stuff. But its only Technic pieces so I call it Technic. There are tech sets that don't have technical functions. It still looks good, but IMO it's better to build in system if your not planning on any mechanism! Actually most good technic builders use normal bricks for the exterior! But of course it's a good practice if you've not been into technic so far...
May 24, 201014 yr Very sleek. I like the color scheme of silver and orange, that's one I'll have to try. As for if it's Technic or not, I think it's pretty Technical, as I would never be able to do that. So I commend you on your mastery of shapes in the world of Technic.
May 24, 201014 yr Author Im trying to learn how to use the gears. I can make useless systems but nothing useful. It seems very difficult to learn.
May 24, 201014 yr Im trying to learn how to use the gears. I can make useless systems but nothing useful. It seems very difficult to learn. Just experiment, and build small mechanisms, destroy and build another, repeat... Use this great tutorial made by Sariel.
May 25, 201014 yr Author Some other limitations I have are my lack of parts. I only own one Technic set so far. All my other pieces have been taken from bionicle sets. I don't have any suspension, gear casings, or wheels. I don't have a whole lot of system parts. Those small silver panels are my ONLY panels. I don't have many colorful parts besides some orange and yellow. It will take me a few year until I can really have enough pieces. Ill be getting my pieces from bricklink and eBay lots since I don't like to take apart my sets.
