Posted May 28, 201014 yr The long awaited White Mandalorian is finally here, let´s see what the fuzz is about !Set Number: TLG item number 4597068 Set name: Boba Fett Year of release: 2010 Parts: 5 Minifigs: 1 S@H Price: Giveaway exclusive so far, no price. The polybag - front & back. The five parts. Nothing new except the white printed torso instead of the old grey ones. And NO, there´s no print on the back. The helmet piece is the old x50px1 A 360° of Boba. And now let´s meet the Fett Clan : It´s nice to have them hang around and kick´in it after a long day of bounty hunting ! One last pic of them together. So what´s the verdict from the jury on this one? Well, it´s great to have yet another SW minifig and a white Boba is cool, but because of the lack of print on arms & legs it feels a bit naked. So it´s a must have and then put him on a shelf & forget him. But still TLG - THANKS ! Edited May 28, 201014 yr by WhiteFang Indexed
May 28, 201014 yr Nice little white boba ! It looks a bit dull though, I'd prefer a mix of the two figs on the right (new boba with cloud city one's printings)
May 28, 201014 yr Nice little white boba ! It looks a bit dull though, I'd prefer a mix of the two figs on the right (new boba with cloud city one's printings) Did I miss something? How do you get this guy from S@H?
May 28, 201014 yr HAHAHAHAHA ^That's^ what I have to say to those who bought these for ridiculous prices. Thanks for the mini-review, but I think this fig is actually pretty boring. Sure, I wouldn't complain if I was able to get one, but I don't think I will be going out of my way to do so. I would be more excited for it if they had used the new Mando helmet mold and jetpack. Oh wait, that's basically a clone trooper. Edited May 28, 201014 yr by darthperson
May 28, 201014 yr where do you get it because i would like one where and how do u get it PLEASE TELL ME I NEED IT
May 28, 201014 yr Nice review, especially with the showcase comparison on the current Mandalorian bounty hunters. I must agreed that it's plain looking without those additional prints but nevertheless this plain white bounty hunter is unique in its own rights and is now part of the bingo list for many die-hard SW collectors.
May 28, 201014 yr Where do you find these then? I want to assure myself one as i missed the chrome darth vader last year :(
May 28, 201014 yr Nice review and I love that you have all of the mandos to show the difference. I think it is alittle dull but I would love to have one, any word on how they are going to be available.
May 28, 201014 yr He looks nice, but I don't really need one, although I wouldn't say no to it if it'd be free somewhere. I wonder what the new Boba would look like with the Cloud City printing and just grey arms. But, I think decals would do. ~ General Magma
May 28, 201014 yr I knew this would turn up in giveaways eventually. Now I feel sorry for those who spent a ridiculous amount for it. Anyway this isn't as nice as the other polybag minifigs, it looks a bit plain to me. Thanks for the review CopMike!
May 28, 201014 yr Very cool. I can hardly wait to, hopefully, get one. Great comparison photos, it really shows how supremely cool the Cloud City Boba is.
May 28, 201014 yr How in the world did you get this? I like this fig, but I like the regular Boba a lot better.
May 28, 201014 yr So it´s a must have and then put him on a shelf & forget him. But still TLG - THANKS ! Hahahahah! Honestly, I almost wish they'd kept this to the limited Toy Fair run so that millions of SW fans could drool over it as an uttainable and expensive idol of desire. Once you see it up close it is kind of.... *shrug*
May 28, 201014 yr I kinda like that he is just plain and simple, which is a complete contrast to the new Boba Fett fig that is overly detailed and stuff. Either way great fig and curious, like everyone else, as to how you obtained it so I can snag one for myself. :) -Omi
May 28, 201014 yr Author Did I miss something? How do you get this guy from S@H? ...... How did you get it? Where do you find these then? I want to assure myself one as i missed the chrome darth vader last year :( How in the world did you get this?Seems to be the only important thing, yeah ....... ! I got it at a swedish toy store where the swedish AFOL´s of swebrick.se help TLG this fri-sat with the Clone Speed Event, publicly building the 2nd half of 2010 new sets and helping out kids who has LEGO questions. Boba is an extra set, that each buyer of the 8097 Slave 1, gets for free. Only 150 ever made, does make it expensive though.I think I'll pass and hope for more to be produced - otherwise I'll just have to shop a customized helmet and a decal for the torso. I guess there will be around x200 times as many produced. !
May 28, 201014 yr Thanks for the review and the nice comparison pics to other mandos! Man, you Swedish guys got great lego stores... det är orättvist!
May 28, 201014 yr Darn you lucky Europeans. Aren't you the ones who got most of the sets cheaper and earlier usually? :D
May 28, 201014 yr Boba is an extra set, that each buyer of the 8097 Slave 1, gets for free. ! So, you're saying if someone buys 8097, the white Boba Fett in included in the set or randomly packed or? Edited May 28, 201014 yr by JAYMATIK
May 28, 201014 yr *Drools over this (so far) unattainable idol of desire Great review Copmike, I like the little polybag he comes in, great stuff I also like your Fett family comparison pics Now I await official word from LEGO on how they plan to have these distributed Knowing my luck it will probably be another damn TRU exclusive Hoping its a Target one this time
May 29, 201014 yr Fantastic CopMike! I sure hope I can get my hands on one of these soon because I really like these limited edition type minifigs lego put out (I have yet to get the chrome Vader though ). White Boba I feel is the best yet cause its a great nod to behind the scenes of star wars. I love the comparison pic! Makes me want to get all of them now
May 29, 201014 yr He looks spectacular with all the others! Your very lucky to get one of these babies! He really is one awesome fig! CommanderFox
