Favourite castle set

Really? When I got that home and realized that it was a modular castle with a pretty crappy baseplate, I felt like I had been punked. I couldn't believe that 'this' was the direction they were taking the 'Castle' line, after so many cool castles in the past.

My favorite is the 6085 Black Monarch's Castle. I remember as a kid, I felt the raised baseplates on the subsequent castles were 'cheating' us out of bricks!

I loved that set.

A staple of my childhood. Didn't personally own it but had a school friend who did.

Royal Knight's Castle probably because it came out in the prime of my childhood set oggling days. Looking back it still looks great though!

i loved all my classic castle sets (6080 was my favorite as a kid), but i have to say my favorite set is my sons 7094 "king's castle seige"

Well, my favorite castle would be number 6077 Forestmens river firtness, its a classic set and its beatifully desinged, but i guess the first castle would also be my favorite, the yellow castle... There wasnt any horses maden ready and you had to do everything by yourself and remember, Once a classic set, always a classic set. So those two will share the first place. But my Favorite set on castle theme..... Is absolutly number 3739 Blacksmiths house, I guess lego shoulddo that set once again and release it again, It has very good pieces and the inside of the house is amazing. The box art (The background) Is just lovley.
