Regional thread.

Would it be possible to have a thread dedicated to joining those that wanted to be by region? I would like to know who is near me that is also a LEGO fan. Interested in trading, gaming, building...etc.

If this hasn't been done already. If this is already being done somewhere else please let me know.

We have a UK thread and a Canada thread. Maybe you could make this a USA thread instead of just your region. Maybe...

If I am understanding him correctly I think he means a section of forums for different regions, like

UK

US

Australia

Asia

etc, etc...

I can see a few small good points to sub-forums like these but personally it just divides the board, at first they are used for organizing events and whatnot, eventually it turns into tiny off topic forums where a small groups just chat. At least in my experience.

Yeah, I agree. If that's what he wants then no, it's not going to happen.

No problem, my only intention was to find more people local that were also LEGO fans.

Perhaps you could see if there's a LUG somewhere near you. Check around any community centers near you to see if there is perhaps a Lego event of some sort going on any time soon .
