Hey there,

this is my first published MOC, so please be gentle :)

Well, here it goes, it's the Trailer truck from the 80's series Knight Rider. I designed it entirely in LDD, then bought the missing parts and "materialized" it. The trailer features a mechanism to lower the legs when it's not connected to the truck. Inside there's some space for K.I.T.T. which will be build sometime in the near future. The logo isn't really the best, but i just couldn't make a better one. The whole truck is a mix of normal building and SNOT technique.

AWESOME truck 'Bojan Pavsic' - I can't wait to also see Kitt plus Michael Knight (The Hoff) behind the wheel of Kitt !

I'm a conformist! ! :sweet:

Hehe, waiting for the black "clown" hair from the second minifig series. "The Hoff" had such hair back then in Knight Rider.

I like the striping on the side of the trailer and I've never seen a mechanism like that built into a LEGO truck. Neat work!

A great truck with a nice feature for the trailer.

I edited the the link to Youtube. Just edit your own post to see how I did it for the future.

This show was a must see after school hit for me, and your MOC takes me back to after school snacks and the theme music, and of course the coolest car of all time.

Hey Bojan

What a great looking truck. The yellow artwork is faboulus. And knowing your mechanical skills, it makes perfect sense that you put some moving legs :classic:

Another sweet touch is the tilting 5th wheel. Nice trick also with putting the road base plates under.

Using groups in LDD is a very proffesional approach. Every LDD user should watch and learn.

And that you added the LXF-files is a very nice gesture! I'm defeintly adding this to the LDD forum index.

Oh, and that rear part of the truck I would call a ramp. A backside could mean something else

And an idea: I would turn the rear rims 180 degrees because that how they look on a real truck due to the double wheel mounting. The front rim is however correct:

Thats awesome, can't wait to see KITT!

You can see KITT allready now. Just download LDD (ldd.lego.com) and you can open the LXF-file and see it (well, only in digital form that is :classic: )

EDIT: Just noticed you are new on Eurobricks - Welcome!! You can always post a quick introduction of yourself here

:) yea, but it's by far from the final version. I don't like it, so i didn't make a "physical" version yet.

Nice rendition, Bojan Pavsic!

This show was one of my favoutites as a kid, and I have been wondering if someday someone would have produced a LEGO version of that iconic truck (I for one do not have a good hand with LEGO trucks...). Thanks for making it real!
