2011 themes and sets?

Has there been any news about next years modular house ?

If not, when are we likely to hear some news on it? Not been around for too long so dont know when the info on the grand emporium came out.

I think I read something that they would show a new set at the great western lego show so that might be the new modular house

But this then would supposably be firstly in early spring of 2011.

Or did you perhaps mean BrickCon which is taking place in about one week, Darth Jar Jar?

If it's like the past three years, the new January Exclusive will be officially revealed there. Let's hope that this is the case this year, too!

But if it's like the past three years, the January Exclusive won't be a CC styled house but a System scaled set (Town Plan (2008), Medieval Market Village (2009) and Imperial Flagship (2010)).

Since Town Plan was (in Jan. 2011) already released three years ago and since it's (at least here in Germany) not longer available and since there very supposably won't be a civilian theme for City in summer 2011 (but a harbor theme), I'd go for a set similar to the picutre of the "City Square" of last year's TRU poll (but of course with many changes - similar to how they changed the "Public Transportation Center" into 8404) to be released as the Jan. 2011 Exclusive.

I doubt that both Racers and World Racers would disappear at once, would they? Racers is a big part of the current catalogue.

This german/dutch shop lists several new sets, some of the Creator sets sound new to me and search on Eurobricks says nothing about their existence. The prices are all lesser than regular.

I don't think it really goes by "room", it's what LEGO thinks sales.

It seems Power Miners and Agents were both going to only be one year sets but then they sold really well, and got a few more sets.

The thing with Agents is it was renamed Agents 2.0 and LEGO stopped numbering the "missions". If World Racers sell well (which I don't think they are) I can see LEGo doing the same thnig, ditchign the numbering and have "World Racers:Mega Racing or something.

Ooh, hi def! I love that new crowbar in the police theme, wish it came in black though... or chrome. It could be used in a harbour theme as well, or other freight themes. I'm sure TLC will find innovative places to use their new minifig tool. I'll probably get my crowbar in a modular building, in the back room of a post office or something.

Shame there's no city buildings that aren't police or space program. Ah well, I save money.

Well, thanks for the .pdf anyway

Sadly other then the Minifugures the only other set for me is the Log Cabin "finally" with minifigure

and the biplane from the Egypt theme, but sadly thats all.

Hope the new Modular building come January or March, waiting with great anticipations!
