A while ago I put together a good collection of various PDF files to do with Technic building but I have now lost this folder off my computer, does anybody know where to find these files again or have any links to any Techic PDF files?

@ Paul B: If you want PDFs on Technic Building INSTRUCTIONS, then here's the site for you: http://us.service.lego.com/en-US/BuildingI...ns/default.aspx [NOTE: Click on this link TWICE to get past the default Lego homepage). That Lego Customer Service website has MOST (but not all) building instructions for the various sets. Use Blakbird's excellent Technicopedia ( http://www.ericalbrecht.com/technic/ ) to easily find the numbers for Technic sets.

If you want PDFs of Technic Building TECHNIQUES, e-mail me at LudersDG@MSN.com and I'll send you various items I've downloaded over the years (but can't recall where I got them exactly).

Thanks for the help. What I am looking for is a couple of files which covered a few things, I think the names might have been building big, something about gears and the aert of lego design.

my email address is paulgblundell@yahoo.com.au if anybody has any of these types of files.

I just e-mailed you "The Art of Lego Design" PDF booklet, plus a few other PDFs on building with Lego Gears.

The 7.5-MB "Building Big" booklet is available from http://www.texbrick.com/articles/index.html . "It presents several building methods that can be used to successfully create large models made from LEGO® parts. Trusses, large composite beams, gears in high torque applications, and the modular approch to building are discussed with text and photos." :oh3:

Further down on that same website is a 0.3MB, 8-page "Using Lego Gears" PDF document. "This article is a guide to using LEGO® gears in high-torque applications and is based on my experiences with gear erosion and breakage."

"The Art of Lego Design" PDF booklet (19 pages) is available from http://www.handyboard.com/oldhb/techdocs/artoflego.pdf . You may also like the "Art of Lego" PDF booklet http://llk.media.mit.edu/projects/cricket/...oflego-pics.pdf .
