Looks awesome, But I doubt I will be able to buy it. For some reason Lego doesn't like the U.S.A. market and I bet this will be one of those sets only sold in Europe..

I wish they would treat us equally.. but they don't..

What on earth are you babbling about?

The tree vendor's stall. It shows a hundred dollar bill for a small tree and two 100's for the large one. It's on the sign of the stall.

I love this set! It'll be excellent with Winter Toy Shop. Can't wait to start a little village. :sweet:

And about the controversial picture, anyone else remember a certain baby catapult and some others?

Aaah, I see

Thanks for clearing that up default_laugh_new.gif

I like it; I think I'm going to ask my mother-in-law for it for Christmas (she got me the Winter Toy Shop last year). Are there two light bricks in there? If not, I think it's a wasted opportunity--there's clearly one on the ceiling, but I hope the oven will be one, too.

Hmm maybe that second-to-last picture is the latest in the series of cheeky back-of-box pics (Kid hanging cat over edge of fire escape (green grocer), changing man frightening shoppers (emporium) and the toymaker and the lady making out (winter toyshop))

Are you sure the currency is dollar? I can't see the dollar sign on the bill

So a small tree costs 100 something - maybe this is cheap

Its strange that the Baguette which is shown on the box art is not shown in any of the pictures

will there be one?

Thanks for the pics grogall! I would dearly love to purchase both this and the Winter Toy Shop, but, sadly I doubt this won't make it's way to the land of Oz for at least twelve months.. :cry_sad: The Winter Toy Shop still hasn't hit the shelves here yet.

I don't know why the kids crying, I'd love to be in that position behind a beautiful lady!

No but seriously, This set is looking great, very colourful and actually quite cosy.

Looks great and does indeed fit in nicely with Winter Village (wich I also own).

Too bad I didn't buy that holiday train because then I would have had great possibilites for a nice little Christmas town.

Off course I still do but now without a train in a white winterlandscape.

Maybe it's an even hotter girl that's stuck in the snow!

Is it correct to assume that the Toy Shop is still available in Europe? What's the official deal with last year's set? I know there's been rumblings that it's still in Target's online catalog and others hint that it will be available...

But does anyone know anything official or otherwise about the Winter Toy Shop being re-released this year in America, or otherwise showing up from retailers???? I never had a chance at it last year, and wasn't into City at that point anyway. I'm all for getting both of these, but don't want to pay ridiculous prices on eBay or Amazon. Just would love to get some intel on the Toy Shop...!

The Winter Toy Shop was sold here in the U.S., so I don't know why the Bakery set wouldn't be too. I'm guessing it will be a Lego exclusive (Lego stores and online only).

I have two very minor issues with the set (which I mostly really love):

1) I'm not a fan of the roof. I don't like the mix of plates and slope bricks. They should have picked one or the other and stuck with it.

2) I wish they'd resused the lamp design from the Toy Shop, just to give the two sets a nice continuity.

We got the Winter Toy Shop last year so we'll most likely get this one.

Maybe he's not into threesomes. :D

I'm getting this set, and I'll probably winterize MMV for a big ol diorama.

I'm not SO excited about the minifigs. The blonde getting some action on the pond, her torso has been seen too many times this year so far. Even the girl in the bakery is fairly commonplace. However, the carriage driver looks to be a new one(?)

Thank you very much for these new pics and the 360 degree view of the Winter Bakery, grogall! :classic:

I must admit that before I saw the 3D-degree, I was more looking forward to this set then now.

But the interior a bit really disappointing: the second floor includes no interior and the oven is completely open. :cry_sad:

Has anyone seen an oven without door and who is open to all four sides before?! All the warmth to bake the cakes would go away into the room. :hmpf:

Don't get me wrong: The exterior is completely awesome!

An although the interior is for me a bit disappointing, I will try to get this set since it will be an excellent addition to the Winter Toy Shop.

But for the next Winter house I hope that TLG will include some decent interior to the second floor, too, like they did in 10199.

This set is awesome and if it's not totally overpriced I'll buy it. All those round 1x1 surely pumps up the piece count nicely :sceptic:

Thank you very much for the set description, grogall! :classic:

55 Euros is a very good price ratio performance!

Nevertheless I would have prefered it to cost 5 Euros more but include some real interior (like a bed or a table with seat) on the second floor and a closed oven with door (instead of the completely open one.

Klaus-Dieter

$55 USD is fair-- almost uncharacteristically fair from TLC, but I'm thrilled to be proven otherwise-- consider me sold!

This set is a steal! 7 minifigs? :cry_happy: The price is good too!

This is amazing! My mind has changed. Onto my christmas wish-list this goes! :sweet:

Haha wow! I'm equally impressed by the price. Thank you for that boon, TLG. More pieces than the Slave I or UCS Obi Wan's Starfighter and $35+ dollars cheaper. Reveals just how much the SW licensing tax is. This bakery has so many more minifigs too.

Cool! 7 1/2 figs

The only thing that bothers me about this set is that the lumberjack has an orange overall print, but his pants are black :hmpf_bad:

This is going on my Christmas list forr sure now! And at a price like this, why not get two and combine them into a super shop?
