Klaus-Dieter Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 I think we can guarantee over-sized croissants and I reckon a gingerbread man is a chance as a tile, hopefully printed and not a sticker. Remember Harry Potter sets have tiles printed as chocolate bars. How big would an apple pie be if it contained about 10 lego apples, now that will be big. I totally agree with you, hewman! Of course there will be some of these oversized croissants be included. And I wouldn't be surprised if we saw baguettes, too. As a printed tile I could see some gingerbread very well. The thing I wonder is whether there'll be again some upper room or only one floor (I mean: The architectual style surely will be a bit different to 10199) and what in a possible upper floor would be included (a bed? a writing table?). What do you think? As for the minifigs I hope that there'll be again a lot of minifigs included. Surely there will be a baker included. Some women and kids would be great, too, and are imo highly likely. (Since in 10199 there were some skiers) Hopefully there'll come some snowboarders with this set! Klaus-Dieter Quote
roamingstop Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 Supersized Croissant (or Gipfeli Parisian) exist here in Switzerland... and yes they are that big. Typically 30cm long... so nothing wrong there. Quote
Klaus-Dieter Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 I could even well imagine that on top of the entrance there will be a croissant (like in the Market Street). As for an upper floor: I think that the bakery will only have one floor - the main room with counter and a big chimney next to it. Hopefully there'll be again seven minifigs included with men, woman, boys and girls (perfect choice and number of minifigs)! I think that we can await pics of it in the middle til end of this month (like it was last year?). Klaus-Dieter Quote
Norro Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 I thought the Toy Shop would be a one of. I'm actually quite pleased that they'll be continuing the line. God Bless, Nathan Quote
BrickClick Posted July 5, 2010 Posted July 5, 2010 Any pics so far? If there were I'm sure they would be posted Quote
Klaus-Dieter Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 Unluckily no pics til now - but a description of 10216: here Klaus-Dieter Quote
Klaus-Dieter Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 (edited) So what does it include: 7 minifigures (partly ice skaters) (and a baker?) 687 parts bakery owls other animals? (dog and cat?) "many accessory" "light through the window" => another light brick? Christmas cakes trees and street lamps This sounds very interesting - so I can't wait for pics! This set is definately on my wishlist. Klaus-Dieter Edited July 8, 2010 by Klaus-Dieter Quote
Lord Arjay Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 Exclusive figurines of owls? I can't wait for pictures of this set and I'm very happy that this winter village theme will be continued. Quote
Svelte Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 Exclusive figurines of owls? Probably the new printed HP owls if this is correct. Quote
whung Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Photo of 10216 comes here: - Pictures removed on request of LEGO - Similar style to 10199! Quote
ILikePi Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 (edited) Wow, thanks a ton for the pic, whung! I'll definitely have to get this to add to my Winter Toy Shop, and I bet many others will, too. No comments on the set for now, but I'm liking that ice rink and bakery! Edited July 21, 2010 by ILikePi Quote
Artifex Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Thanks a lot for the most expected picture of Eurobricks in all times! This set looks so cute and completely spectacular! I want lots of it! Quote
Superkalle Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Great job on the pics! And about the set - yummy! Quote
RoryoCox Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 I am wanting this lovely little set. It looks really lively. Thanks for the picture Quote
Ricecracker Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Thanks for the pic, Whung! It looks like we'll be getting new parts in Medium Dark Flesh, including a new arch and a clip of some sort. Also, the skates are just these pieces. From what I can tell, it has seven and a half minifigures! Quote
Mr. Elijah Timms Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Give it to me. NOW. Great work, Whung! Quote
Athos Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Looks almost too similar to the toy shop. I wish they'd done a little more differentiation with it. Still it looks like a nice little set. I hope they continue with these, so we can have a whole little Christmas village. Steve Quote
prateek Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Woah, woah, woah! Hold your horses! This is great! Not as innovative as the Toy Shop, but still pretty cool. Hopefully it'll be cheaper. Quote
BrickClick Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Thanks for the picture Whung! I really like the look of this set, And the ice rink is a great addition! I'll probably try to get my hands on this one, Even though I don't have the toy shop... Quote
Mr. Elijah Timms Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 I'll probably try to get my hands on this one, Even though I don't have the toy shop... I'm with BrickClick... the distribution of the Toy Shop was so crazy last year, so many of us never got it. I'd love to see them re-release the set as an Exclusive or Legends because one day there might be an entire line of these things, and so many of us will have never gotten the first one. Quote
Carbohydrates Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Hmm, looks all right, but it feels like a little bit of a letdown coming from the spectacular toy shop. I'll have to wait for more detailed photos, of course, but I don't feel instantly blown away and impressed like I was when I first saw 10199. Quote
GRogall Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 (edited) Thanks Whung, for the pictures! another set I have to get this year. I have enlarged the picture somewhat but this is not my forte! I usually like HR! And just to compare! Edited August 13, 2010 by grogall Quote
Set Sprinter Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Oh, OH! Beautifull, great, extraordinary set! Ideal to Winter Toy Shop. Maybe LEGO want to create Exclusive winter village? Quote
minifgure_fan Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 FINALLY! PICTURES! I've been itching to see this set, and now that I have, once I buy it, it'll make a wonderful addition to my Winter Toy Shop! Quote
