I have one criticism of the new skin (a very minor one  ) - on the profile page, it's really hard to read alternate comments which are dark grey on bark blue.

I'm sure our skin experts can fix that.

We are working with Invision (the company that's making our boards software) to find a decent solution for our default skin change issues. We are on the right track and I think by tomorrow we'll have a nice procedure to avoid these problems in the future.

I am not seeing this in profiles I visit??

On another note, I like the new banner, the Taun Taun is a nice new touch.

I see it on your profile...

Ahh, I wonder if this is because when I visit profile pages, I still see the halloween theme.

Let me clear my cookies.

Weird, still halloween.

Try now.

You have ebtered my profile through the frontal lobe.

I'm on the Winter theme now. And now I see the comments problem. Looks like a background could help those. Not the end of the world though.

I noticed that too, It also happened on the old Winter skin.

Odd, since we didn't have the profile comments turned on with the old software... :look: Spooky.

Haha, the power of many. Conforming to what the group says, me thinks.

No. We just didn't have it on with the old software, so the comments couldn't have appeared the way he said they did. Not conforming. Read it right.

That's what I was getting at. But I probably explained it wrong. I was saying that they said they saw it on the old winter theme just to be like everyone saying that now, even though it was impossible.

When did the Embassy become the Ambassadors' Hangout?

It was always like that. I think.

Oh wait, they changed the name! Dang. When did that happen?!?

I've got a quick questions: why is The Embassy now called The Ambassadors' hangout? I feel like The Embassy was a cooler way to say the latter anyway, but I would also think the 'h' should be capitalized in the new title.

This is my take, but the Ambassador's Hangout makes it much more relaxed than The Embassy. It makes for a much more inviting forum.

The power of a name is a big deal.

The name may or may not be permanent. If anyone has a suggestion for a better name feel free to share it.

I don't know if anyone has pointed this out or not, but the United States Central Standard Time is an hour fast on this forum... As I'm writing this, the time tag will say 12:12 or 12:13; it's actually only 11:12 or 11:13.

I've experienced this too, and it's probably the same for other timezones as well. This problem has always been present, it changed because of DST starting. Just switch to Mountain time and you'll never know the difference.

Read here.

I'm not sure why, but this has become a general EB complaints/suggestions/comments topic, even when the entire "Website & Forums" forum is actually for this. Thus we're ending up with a megatopic about generally nothing which will be impossible to find stuff in later on. I've asked people to stop, but I was ignored so all I can do is....

My screen seems blurry. It may be my eyesight, but it also could be the new board upgrade. Can you look into it? I think you have the fuzzy setting on.
