MOC: Lightning McQueen from Cars movie

Thats downright adoralbe, I love it, but have you ever considered using decals? I think it would look great, but you would have to apply them covering more then one piece

I simply love how smooth you made McQueen, your building techniques are pretty clever for a small vehicle. Even without decals, it is easily recognizable as McQueen (and Mack).

Will you be doing some other 'Cars' as well? Maybe Mater?

The eyes seemed a bit strange (too much out of the sockets ) at first; but when next to Mac, they gain the right perspective .

In my mind the MOCs are nice as they are without having to resors to that sort of technique. Kind of blurs what is Lego building and what is not.

Very cool AllanSmith! You've certainly captured Lightning McQueen's look very effectively, though I'm not sure on the mouth. Because the truck was so much bigger the deepness of the mouth worked fine, but here it looks a little more like he's pulling a face. Still, that's my only criticism, and its a bit of a minor one, the rest looks fantastic. And I don't care about the bluetac eyes since I did the same thing to get the "talking" lights on my Daleks.
