Mrlegoninja Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 Looks very original and fascinating! Hopefully I'll be available when this comes around (Unlike Baritones 3). I will be waiting for this game Sandy!
CMP Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 Sweeeet. Wonder if has systematic combat like the actual Heroica. I fully intend to join this.
Rumble Strike Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 This sounds very cool, nice work on the teasers so far Sandy! It'll be interesting to see the mechanics of this RPG.
Sandy Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 Nice to hear I've gotten people excited. Will this be an ongoing game or the first of many RPGs? Like I said, this is actually a new game system, which will go on for as long as there are eager hosts and players. The various quests (think of them like miniature mystery games with battles) are the main thing in this game, the rest of it is just framework. And there will be an actual battle system included, one that is heavily inspired by the Heroica boardgame but extended. The entire rules that explain the game mechanics will be revealed once the game launches.

So I assume that means any abilities and items we acquire will carry over to the next quest?
Sandy Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Great. So I assume that means any abilities and items we acquire will carry over to the next quest? Yes, of course. You will have a player character that does all these quests and grows in power and renown for it.
Eskallon Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 (edited) This is the game I have been waiting for, for about a year... And God, it has been worth the wait. Edited August 8, 2011 by Eskallon
The Legonater Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Yes, of course. You will have a player character that does all these quests and grows in power and renown for it. It sounds vaguelly like a table-top RPG. Thank goodness for all those months of reading Darths and Droids However you do it, it sounds amasing, and I really hope to be a part of it.
Dragonator Posted August 11, 2011 Author Posted August 11, 2011 And now for something else During the brief interlude between games, I sat down with my cohort of minions and plotted some despicable things. Sadly I was later advised that enslaving you all to mine gold for me wasn't appropriate, however I did manage to make some progress in another matter. I'd like to announce our most recent Mafia Tag recipient, Roooooofus! Rufus has shown a great commitment to the games he has played in so far, and has proven to be a resourceful team player. Let's all give him a round of apple-sauce applause! Now, back to digging you lot!
Fugazi Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Wohoo! This doesn't come as a surprise, you have done brilliantly in every game you have played so far! Congratulations Rufus, carry on your inspiring gaming!
Rick Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Congratulations Rufus, you really deserve this tag. If the Dragon Lord over there didn't put a minimum of 4 games (which I can understand, honestly), you would have gotten it after your great performance in The Forest (which I got to witness from really up close) I'm sure. You really put a lot of energy into these games and I understand they exhaust you. So enjoy your little break from mafia and your new shiny gun.
Tamamono Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Congratulations Rufus! You definitely deserve it!

Congratulations Rufus, carry on your inspiring gaming! Thanks, Fooooooog! Congratulations Rufus, you really deserve this tag. Sandy Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Congratulations, Rufindel, and welcome to the club.
CorneliusMurdock Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Congrats, Rufus! I can't think of anyone more worthy of the tag.
The Legonater Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 For some reason I was under the impression you already had one. Maybe it's because you're so good of a player. Congrats anyways! Well deserved.
Ricecracker Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Congrats Rufus! I'm surprised it took this long, and I hope I get to play on the same team as you some more in the future.
Jedi master Brick Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Well done Rufus . A well earned tag for you
Peanuts Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Congratulations Rufus. I thought you already had a mafia tag, so I'm a bit surprised. But you well deserve it.
CMP Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Why are all the people we think have gotten a tag are just now getting them? Congrats on a tag well-earned, Rufus.
Hinckley Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Why are all the people we think have gotten a tag are just now getting them? Congrats on a tag well-earned, Rufus. Probably because it's harder to get one than people realize.
