I have been leading a charmed life in Mafia Games. Day 2 in the Mafia School as scum blocker, Survived as Town Vigilante in Gotham!

DarthNihilus, I look forward to being in the same faction as you again.

Next time, just don't grass on your teamates!

I love that emote!

Hey Draggy,

I was also looking through the index (it's a popular place) and I noticed that their was no Mafia Survival list anymore. I was just wondering if this was for a reason as I always found it useful and nice to commend those who have won and played well in a game. Incase you don't know what I am talking about, here is the old threads list:

Yes, it was removed for a reason. We have a new method of keeping track of this and we'll announce it when we're ready.

Sorry for digging up such an old suggestion and post but I was just wondering if you had any plans to release this information, Im not sure if I'm the only interested one in seeing this brought back but it was always a fun and useful little thing to have?

Some sort of end of the year awards/roasting. Our esteemed Draggy has something up his sleeve, I'm sure.

A roasting? Oh dear... :look: I have a feeling the subject of Belville Mafia might come up during that.

Heck, I'm afraid the Cirque Du Freak C&D topic will come up in that! Though it probably deserves it.

Yes, I'm putting character roles together tonight and hopefully starting Chapter One this weekend. I am a couple of days behind but close to on track. If Day 1 of IMHOTEP hadn't been so involved I'd be a little closer to on time.

So, any scum/serial killers/vigilante/whatever who want to play your mystery game should pick you for night one?:grin:

It's a mystery so there are no scum or vigilantes or whatevers...

It's very interesting to watch one of these Mafia games live, instead of reading skimming through the archives. It's a bit easier to see where the tension comes from, what with waiting for other peoples' responses and stuff while they're not online. It's also quite difficult to keep up with the vote tally, I think if I were playing I'd have to keep a spreadsheet tally, not only of everyone's votes/unvotes (and any patterns contained therein), but also of the host's vote tallys, to try and find any voteless or double voters.

Ironically, what with all the crazy amount of strategizing and such, I think it would be easier to run a Mafia game than to play one.

Although I do have a theme idea that practically makes its own role system...

It'll be interesting to watch a mystery in-progress as well, I tried to read the archives of Red Moon, but I just couldn't grasp what was going on. (It also didn't help that, since it ended in hiatus instead of conclusion, no one's roles and abilities were revealed, leaving little frame of reference.) Hopefully an in-progress game will shed some light on how mystery games work.

Don't worry. Neither could the hosts or players.

Trust me.

It's not.

whatever happened to the upcoming Ninja vs Samurai game by whitefang? I really wanted to get into that one

The upcoming mafia games list isn't really followed anymore. Generally it's just wait for a teaser, and the sign-ups will be opened soon enough. It's like a fortune cookie - it supposed to tell the future, but when it does, it's often luck.

I do hope they are still going to do that one, such a awesome one to do.

Well, do keep in mind that you aren't allowed to play in an advanced game until you've played in a Mafia School game.

I don't believe you've ever played in an EB mafia game before, have you? :look:

I thought he played Witch Hunt, but after a quick check it appears I was mistaken.

On another note, I see this forum had undergone yet anothe name change from LEGO Mafia, Wargames and RPGs to LEGO Mafia and RPGs. I peaonally like the change, seeing as there are almost no wargames anymore.
