And a big thank you to all the members who make Eurobricks not only a great forum, but a great community

That made me smile. It sounded really nice.

Wow,

This is truly an impressive achievement.

I remember being on a forum where we celebrated the 3500th member

Congrats to EuroBricks, and may there come many, many more members in the following years :sweet::thumbup:

Regards,

CF W

Oh, this so cool! Bonaparte, you lost (which is sort of sad) on the day a website you're an administrator of has 10,000 members!!

You never were, with all of your outstanding reviews.

I see I have a fan.

Thanks

Oh you are! Only newbies post 200 times on every single thread in the entire forum!

And a not so much fan

Thanks

As for the 9.3 members per day, its easy to see now with the new content link, it shows the new members daily.

I have to say that page 5 of the PDF,"Eurobricks is always ON and so is our team" sounds like some horrible 1984 oppressive dictatorship.

Congratiulations, I still remind the time I was a one time in 2 weeks lurker and there were just around 6 team moderators.

Now everyday there are more new threads than time to read them.

Maybe I must be more selective and don't want to read every thread.

Yes, Eurobricks really grew very fast during these last few years, and it seems this tendency is continuing! :classic:

I think this is a great community, and that we have some of the best LEGO contests around! Also our blogs (Classic-Pirates.com, Classic-Town.net and de-classic-space.com) are becoming more popular by the day.

WOW, 10,000 Strong and counting! Congratulations to Eurobricks! default_classic.gif

Even though I'm relatively new here, I can proudly say I'm privileged to be part of this premiere online LEGO community in the world.

Kudos to all the pioneer admins, all admins in general, moderators, regulators for establishing this forum and keeping it running seamlessly 24-7-365. pirate_thumbup.gif And also to all members who are the 'source of life' of this forum.

More power to us in EB! Cheers for many more years and members to come! default_blink.gif

An impressive milestone for the Eurobricks community! Great job to all of the members and staff who made this community outstanding over the years.

Cheers for a prosperous future

BTW. just a curious question, does anyone know who is our lucky 10,000th member? Maybe we could give him/her a prize or something. default_blink.gif

Yes! They were a spammer and we celebrated their arrival by booting them out the door!

Niiiice!

I was wondering, do we know how many of those 10 000 are actually active participating members of EB.

The presentation was a good read. EB has certainly come a long way in the last few years. I haven't been here all that long, but the site is far more active and populated today than it was back when I registered, especially in certain categories like Technic.

So much for that.

That's hard to be sure, but... (looking at the stats) I'd say about 10% of our members are regular posters. The rest have only made a few posts, or haven't been back for years.

I'm especially happy about that! I thing the separation from Bionicle helped a lot there.

Even though spammers stink and I know it's alot of work for you guys, it's actuaslly a good sign.

The fact that you are big enough to attract spammers.

My friend started a forum and was happy when he got his first spammer, he said, it's proof we are growing.

I've never had any problem attracting them; my blog got one in 2 weeks!

Wow!

Glad to be part of this community!

And with 10.000 members the site is still moderated and run very well so I'd like to thank the Mod/Admin team :classic:

Here's to all these years of loyal members,

Thanks

Haha, you are interesting though. I think I've read your blog. I don't remember where I was linked to it though, or it may have just been a bio page.
