Darth Lion Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 Ah, when I remember the time, when we were only 9999 members - ah, old memories... Congratulations - this is a very important moment of "lego communication". Quote
brickfoot Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 Yes. 10,000 members. I wonder how many are active. Quote
Rick Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 Yes. 10,000 members. I wonder how many are active. Check the previous page Quote
Zorbas Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 Back when EB had 129 registered members... Wow! Where did you find that? Thanks Fugazi! It feels like a museum! Quote
Rick Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 Where did you find that? The Internet 'Wayback Machine', it really takes you back... Quote
Zorbas Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 The Internet 'Wayback Machine', it really takes you back... Waaaay back! I've checked the available EB pages and suddenly a dinosaur appeared. Quote
Plastic Nurak Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 Glad to be enterd in this wonderful community . I love you all, f*****g b******s ! (said with the heart, not insulting ) Quote
sok117 Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 well, it's no suprise really, this site is the best on the web for lego fans Quote
Clone OPatra Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 Ah, I love traveling through the wayback machine! Lovely presentation for this special occasion. I also feel flattered for being very discreetly referenced, especially since I don't consider the Alamut review to be one of my best, picture-wise anyway. I'm happy that Eurobricks has made quite a name for itself. Now, when do we get a Eurobricks tie-in set? Quote
tindwcel Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 There was some sort of glitch the day I joined. I was briefly member 300, and then very soon somehow became number 301, hence my title :) I'm not complaining :) Congrats to EB and to "Lucky 10000" whoever that is! Quote
SuvieD Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 I think the majority of users lurk and check up on things each week or so but many of us are busy adults with several hobbies and responsibilities. I hope to get to posting more often but if you look at the members, many of them do read on the boards even if they are not posting. Quote
Nikola Bathory Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 This really is the best place for adult fans of LEGO. I'm back after month of not posting (but I was still reading the news on the frontpage, like probably many other users do!). Quote
The Legonater Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Ah, I love traveling through the wayback machine! The wayback machine... is that anything like a flux capasiter . Congrats again EB- 10,00 is a big number (from a certain point of view) Quote
Joey Lock Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Wow, We already have 129 new members. I've only ever met about 1000 of the 10,000 members on this forum, Sure theres not like 3000 spammers or just really inactive people? Quote
Gamer Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 Wow, 10.000 members, thats a lot.Congratulations to Euro Bricks, and may ther be even more thousands members soon. Gamer. Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 I just noticed it now (and it is very interesting to note): ...I'm Member No.5203 (5,203rd member of EB) joined last Feb 2009 ...Now, EB has 10,000+ members, as of Jun 2010. ...meaning in the span of only 16 months the population of EB has more than doubled! Wow, that's what you call exponential growth! Quote
Joey Lock Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 (edited) I just noticed, Artifex's member number is "11066", But we only have 10,000 members? Somethings gone wrong there! Edited June 30, 2010 by Joey Lock Quote
Big Cam Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 I just noticed, Artifex's member number is "11066", But we only have 10,000 members? Somethings gone wrong there! This has been discussed numerous times including this thread. Spammers do not count, hence the 10,000 member point was 10,000 actual members, aka real live people. Quote
