LEGO Star Wars 2010 Pictures and Rumors

Im really likeing the 2010 wave more and more, but my wallet shrinks every time i find a new set i want.

But the sudden change in box are is quite akward.

And plus why isn't this frontpaged?

I think it may be because they have the confidential sign on them but I'm not really sure.

Wampa Cave. I love it. That Wampa looks pretty good.

Plo's Fighter. Also good, don't plan on getting it though.

Grievous's Fighter. Ship looks too similar to the not-so-old one, but I'll buy it for those figs.

Palpatine's Shuttle. Meh, could be better, like if it was entirely tiled. Need that skin-showing Vader though.

Slave I Boba Fett, Han, Bossk, and a white box representing solo. Nice. Looks like I no longer need my custom Fett shoulder pad. I also see Fett is looking to his right with the helmet, which means it is seperate from the pack, and that's a bley antennae (spelling?) on his helmet, plus new blaster rifles.

Clone Turbo Tank. Wasting enough money as it is, might as well get this one too. Mainly for Aayla and Cad Bane though, especially his new (?) hat.

Awesome, especially the Clone Turbo Tank, Slave 1 and Grievous's fighter, Soulless One (see a connection?).

For me, Palpatine's shuttle is too much like the 2009 start-of-year flagship, Republic Assault Shuttle.

I don't think the Swamp Speeder will be over £20 - it doesn't look like it has enough pieces to be so. The price will never deter me though, I must have Barriss and that cool speeder, I missed out on the first.

I think my wallet will be healthy next January, because I only intend to buy the battlepacks, Freeco speeder and Swamp Speeder. I already own the original Landspeeder, ARC-170 Fighter and Droid Tri-Fighter, so that was an easy decision for me to make.

As for summer, my wallet will totally sploom. The Wampa Cave and Palpatine's Shuttle are definite buys for me, the rest I'm unsure of. Plo Koon's fighter doesn't interest me, I own Plo Koon and have Ahsoka's starfighter, which is too similar. I own the 2006 Slave 1, but I might buy the new one just for the new Boba and Bossk. I also own the original CTT, but Cad Bane and Aayla Secura have to be part of my collection.

I have but Grievous looked so blurry that i am waiting till he is mold- i want him anyway i don't have the old one -that was bad anyway- new one looks interesting but hard to say- great that they did Vebb for that set- meaning cheaper and easier Mon calamari head

Yeah- like i said before it should have had two coruscant guard clones and at least one Red Guard- but no- it do have a doctor droid- similar to 2-1b

well it was bad choice for lego to do all those re-releases at the same time i have Luke's speeder (the cool violet one!), Arc and Trifighter too -also the Freeco speeder is very poor set two figs both hard to use- talz had to be chief of course and anakin instead of Obi-Wan- again!

Won't know about the Swamp Speeder until later, but £25-30 sounds about right unfortunately. The Landspeeder is overpriced as it is, but it at least comes with a good selection of pretty rare minifigs. (Tattooine Luke, Ben and C-3P0). The Swamp speeders only appeal is Barris Offee, but she's likely to be pretty sought after because of her recent role in the Clone Wars, and since it's a limited edition set, I could see it easily going for £30.

Question is - Is it the real set or is it a scratch build (note no Jedi) ?

The postings said 8091MOD - we all not having seen this set except for one picture and one box art can not tell what MOD and whats not ?

I do agree with you. Any exclusives to Target , Walmart, etc. are a lot harder to find in the states. (at least for me) Though TRU's prices are higher at least I don't have to got to 5 different stores and finally having to make a Shop@Home order. If the other stores would stock them like TRU does it wouldn't be a problem.

On the Turbo Tank, they haven't even made the mold yet so whether or not her 'head-tails' will be a hair piece or one of those backpack attachments to the neck. I think I spy Commander Bly as well! For Grievous, the new mold looks excellant on first impressions, so that should turn out well; but for the rest I'm not too sure.

I thought maybe he works for TLC, and has seen more of the set than we did, so he can build an accurate version.
