Wow. That wamp IS looking better. It needs printed eyes, but still good. I find it strange that they made an entirly new Luke torso though, they have plenty of good snow outfits already. The pilot- unless they just ploped Zev in the speeder- is either Zev or Wedge. I haven't gotton a good memorable look at Zev's helmet yet. If they DID just plop Zev in there, it could be anybody. I hope it's anyboyd, bu t Zev IS the guy thaty found Luke and Han.

It looks like there's a lightsaber flicking mechanism in the cave! :cry_happy:

Actually, if you stop at 0:15, you can get a glimpse of Grievous' repair chair.

The Wampa's cave looks awesome! BTW, If you're too lazy to click the link, here it is ripped, uploaded to youtube, and embedded:

Can someone make some of the good "shots" a photo so I can save it to my computer. My requests are the wampa cave(of course!) and snow monster(I forget the name). (I like the wampa cave too!)

I don't think the doodles are needed any more, but are wanted!

You mean a wampa, hence the name: Wampa Cave?

Thanks very much for that link! I wonder where they got to shoot that footage, at a UK toy fair? I remember press at the UK Toy Fair being very very tight last year, without hardly any images from there. Why did LEGO not mind this year?

The Wampa attack looks great, did anyone see a giant picture of Slave 1 in the background.

Was this staged by Lego because we and other AFOL sites either know about and/or talking out loud about the second half releases or could have been a big boo boo on their part ?

In the video, at exactly 14 seconds, you can see on the left a small part of the General Grievous Starfighter box... Too bad they didn't shoot it. :cry_sad:

Now the questions are :

- Where was this filmed ? Would it be possible for a british gentleman to phone Sky News and ask them where the hell did they filmed it ???

- Why is there a display of most of the 2010 sets and nothing on the net ? We are far from Toy Fair (either US or UK)

On the sets : Ice Cave --> MUST BUY. I just hope the Wampa will get a machine printed head, it look a bit too plain like that...

And my supposition : some of the sets (Plo Koon, Ice Cave and Grievous) seems to have already reached the "production" level. I bet that we might get them earlier than june (well, officially august, hem...)

Well folks since the interviews of customers were in an English TRU, then we can guess the Lego rep was been interviewed at Lego's U.K. headquaters.

Hey it was a pity we didn't see the new GG figure, also I think that is Zev again with the snow speeder, ah well you could always use a spare rebel pilot couldn't you.

The pictures look good. I hope that Plo Koon's droid shown isnt actually that one because its hard to know if these are still prelims or not because they have been seen by outsiders.

Interesting, I wonder if TLG will pick up on the Nahdar error.

What error is that?

Does anyone else think that the Cad Bane figure will have arm printing. Cad Bane has very significant patterns on his arms so hopefully TLG will notice.

His lightsaber looks green to me, but in CW it was blue.

Was there supposed to be a Rebel trooper in the other seat in the Snowspeeder? :look: ANyway, If you look closely behind the Wampa Attack set, you can see the droid in Greivous' SF, with a new head mold! Looking at GG, he has a lot of detail, especially in his face and eyes. I wonder if he willl be made of rubber like Fitso?

Thank you very much for this information, mutley777! :classic:

The Wampa looks now much better and the ice cave is ok. The Landspeeder looks to me very well designed.

Btw: Could it be that Luke's lightsaber can be slingshot out of the ice block?

Yay. Nice to see some good pics, but Zev in the wampa attack! :cry_sad:

Nahdar looks cool. Plo Koon Starfighter: Meh, another starfighter, but I think I will by anyway.

I reckon that's the "rescued" Luke. That made me think. Was there another pilot in the Snowspeeder when Zev found Luke and Han? That would be pointless, because then Luke and Han wouldn't be able to fly back in the Snowspeeder.

That can't be real surely, I thought Lukes speeder isn't out until much later in the year.

Out of stock now, but the UK Toys R Us site had the Landspeeder up for sale yesterday.

Almost ordered some myself, but they have ridiculous stock limitations (1 per customer) which would have bumped the set up to £30 because of their crazy standard post fee's, and I just wasn't willing to pay that for the set.

I saw this article on sky news earlier and though you guys had to see it! There is footage of the wampa and plo koon's starfighter and other brief shot of the august sets!

Yeah its quite a shame all UK Lego has sold out...

Hopefully I will be able to grab a ARC-170 Fighter before they get sold out! I think that Toysrus was my local one too! Luckily, Im not a big Star Wars collector, I only collect what I need so I haven't been much affected by the "Great Lego Depression of December 2009".

But I have been affected with other sets I wanted because there are now only 3 Lego stores in Britain, I mean, Britain is one of Lego's top buyers and you only bother to build 3 Lego stores? And there up north which is far for me. There used to be one in Kingston Upon Thames which was still quite a trek and now thats gone. They have one in Bluewater up north, Brighton down south and Milton Keynes over the other side of London, which I will probably have to go through to get to it! Grrrr! And many shops don't seem to sell Lego anymore besides the fact that Lego is "Flying" off the shelves? Unless people are buying them at insane prices from certain companies selling a battle pack for £20?

I know. We need more stores. :hmpf_bad:

But we're getting off-topic now, and I don't fancy getting told off by KimT.

I would really hope so but if history repeats itself, then I doubt it. I don't think its cost effective, but we can always hope.

Great video, that Wampa set looks like so much fun, that along with the echo base set, for $50 you can have a good time on Hoth :classic:
