JCC1004 Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 (edited) @KimT: Why did you post the second pic twice? The second image is bigger. I am curious where the "8129 AT-AT Walker" came from. Edited December 22, 2009 by JCC1004 Quote
The Legonater Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 The second image is bigger. Not once it gets shunk, which it usually does. Quote
Rufus Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 >snippety<But I have been affected with other sets I wanted because there are now only 3 Lego stores in Britain, I mean, Britain is one of Lego's top buyers and you only bother to build 3 Lego stores? And there up north which is far for me. There used to be one in Kingston Upon Thames which was still quite a trek and now thats gone. They have one in Bluewater up north, Brighton down south and Milton Keynes over the other side of London, which I will probably have to go through to get to it! Grrrr! >snip< Bluewater up north?? It's in Kent! I'm really impressed with the 2010 line-up so far, and they seem to have pushed the ESB boat out. It's actually quite a smart move by Lego to put a Snowspeeder in the Wampa attack and Han & Tauntaun in this year's Echo base - ensuring people will buy both to recreate the scene. All we need now is a trans-blue Ben. And finally, I can get a Boba Slave I, having missed out on the 2006 version. Bring on 2010! Quote
Jar Jar Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 I am happy with the sets but what about a Dagobah System and Cloud City? Quote
Tinn-man Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 8129 AT-AT Walker August 2010 Considering that you've been right about some of your other lists, I'm going to blindly believe you. (Plus this follows what xwingyoda said ) Too bad it's not a 10*** number, so it's not a UCS model. What a shame, I was hoping for a huge one, along the same scale as the UCS MF. Oh well, I don't have an AT-AT yet, so this will be a good excuse to buy one. Hopefully it's not MIDI-scaled, considering that I want one bigger than what LEGO's released before. Now the wait for pics begins. The good thing about it not being a 10*** number is that it leaves room for something else. So what is next years exclusive? Hopefully we'll get two, like we did in 2009(AT-OT/Dropship and Tantive IV). I'm betting on cloud city or any thing else from Ep. V. Quote
Jar Jar Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 A Dagobah System or Cloud City please to go with the other sets! Quote
Steff Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 My thoughts of exclusive ESB-Sets are one or two of these: a new AT-AT a new Cloud City a new Minifig Falcon, not UCS a new Yoda's Hut with X-Wing-Fighter Quote
Forresto Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 The second image is bigger. I am curious where the "8129 AT-AT Walker" came from. Several months ago the AT-AT rumor started by info from a believable source. Quote

CommanderFox Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 (edited) 8129 AT-AT Walker August 2010 WOOPIE!!! Info at last! Pics and description please! How do you know all this information AllanSmith? I saw you also knew the prices of the minifig packs for us New Zealander's. What minifig packs?? Edit: Oh right...those Another Falcon? I want a new Yoda to be in the Dagobah System! Cloud City would FTW! Im pretty darn 100% sure that we are not getting any Dagobah sets. Next years line up is already getting to big for more surprise sets to come out. CommanderFox Edited December 23, 2009 by CommanderFox Quote

Zzz Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 . . . depends on how much they want for the new AT-AT - right, guys? And for me also, if it does beat my modified 4483. cheers Quote
DashIngG Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 Personally I don't get too excited about a new AT-AT. The last one was fine (although I could've done without power functions). I'm still hoping for a jedi council set or a larger Mos Eisley cantina. But I realise the number of new (single use) minifigs would make that unattractive for Lego (but very attractive for fans). Penitent Tangent Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 I'm pretty sure it'll be another midi-set. The Falcon was great, so I'd love to see more of those. And it's definitely not a UCS and it makes no sense for them to release another normal AT-AT set when we already have one, and I'm pretty sure that wasn't on the 2010 discontinued list. Quote
DarthSion Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 (edited) I really wish it would turn out to be the Aqua Terrain Armoured Transport. If he reads this, I would also like to point out KimT you made a typo, You list the Wampa Attack in the 2009/2010 news topic has having Plo Koon and a droid, And also list the Swamp speeder as having a Jedi, its actually a Padawan Barriss, although I probably spelt her name wrong. Jar Jar Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 KimT, will there be another UCS set next year? If so, I am all up for it. I am not that excited for an AT-AT because I am betting it will cost a lot of money. I am also wondering what minifigs the AT-AT will include. Will it include a small Hoth Base and include some rebels and not just snowtroopers and AT-AT troopers with General Veers? Quote

Big Cam Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 I am curious where the "8129 AT-AT Walker" came from. Me too, they just made one, that seems like an odd move for TLG. Quote
-JD- Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 If the rumour for the AT-AT is true, it better not have power functions. I ruined the last one. I hope it will have hinged legs like the original, with more troopers and features. Quote
Jar Jar Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 Guys, do you think there will be 2 more sets we haven't heard of? 8090 and 8094 aren't in the list of the 2010 sets on the front page. UCS sets perhaps? Quote

UCS sets perhaps? I think those are usually limited edition sets maybe. Or a classic set like hoth wampa cave which didn't really go in the number order of the august 2010 clone wars. Quote
