February 15, 201015 yr Does anyone know whether these are actual LEGO parts (i.e not made in China) in the new magnets? Even just judging by the pictures, I'd say it's the cheaper plastic.
February 15, 201015 yr Thanks for the pics of the two new magnet sets! I'm glad that the Endor magnet set includes Paploo instead of the other two Ewoks. Paploo was my least favorite minifig out of all three Ewoks, so it makes me feel glad that the rarer Ewoks are the ones I like! The other magnet set is a weird combination. Palpatine plus the two coveted minifigs from the Separatist Shuttle? Why not Papatine and two Senate Commandos? The fact that the prices of these minifigs will be driven down all the way from $10-$20 to $4-$5 (USD) doesn't really bother me at all, but what does is that now BrickLink will be scattered with lower quality and normal quality minifigs, and you won't be able to know what type you're buying. EDIT: Oh, and for the ones who don't like the new Boba Fett torso, you could always try using the new helmet, jetpack and cape on the old Boba Fett torso. Edited February 15, 201015 yr by ILikePi

You know, doing that with the printed-legs-and-arms-Cloud-City Boba would result in the perfect Boba fig!
February 15, 201015 yr OH MY GOD!! Those pictures are what I think, Shahan Alama, Cad Bane, HELIOS 3-D, Senate Commando and captain Jayfon from CAD BANE"S SPEEDER! I'm so sorry If this has been posted before, I just saw it and am amazed. SO BUYING IT! Actually, the printed Senate Commando is a Senate Commando captain named Captain Jayfon. Here's what he looked in the CW series (he got killed right at the beginning of the show): I'll definitely be getting this set. A cheaper way to get a Senate Commando, Cad Bane, that Weequay bounty hunter and that awesome new Senate Commando captain! Also, thanks for finding those minifig shots Oky Wan! Cad Bane and Grievous look great! By the way, the white Boba Fett is apparently a freebie given to VIPs attending Toy Fair (like Joe Meno of Brickjournal or the guys at FBTB). (An autographed Buzz Lightyear Cube Dude was also given) Aw Damn it HAS already been posted

February 15, 201015 yr (Thanks to FBTB) Our first good close-up of Aayla, and I have to say, this is one amazing fig. The headpiece is just perfect, and I'm just going to brasso the whites of the eyes off so the fig looks somewhat normal. Not to mention the set comes with a bunch of other great figs. A must buy! On the other hand... Oh boy... This looks exactly like something Megablox would make. I'll pass. Oh here are the figs- great collection here want them- but Grievous has very ugly hands- why there is stupid system like that- oh well i may know how to correct that for my mod- when i'll get him
February 15, 201015 yr WOW! Do comments ever steam in fast! Now that i think about it, I'm not so sure about Bane's Speeder. Sure it has a cheap senate commando and Bane, but they really should have done Aurra Sing and a Commando Droid instead of the Weequay and 3D. 3D is already widly open, and the Wequay seems like a repeat of the Pirate Tank, to me. Other than that, I'l probly get it, it's likely to be cheap.

February 16, 201015 yr I couldn't be happier with the Summer lineup but I have one question going through all the pics. TLG spent so much time re-designing Fett's helmet and torso. Why not go the extra couple of steps to put printing on the arms and legs? Or how about the jet pack? Is this something they are planning to do on the Cloud City set to make it more interesting? They did such a great job with the improvements that it's sort of a let-down that they didn't make him better in every way possible. Mike
