strider406 Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 hi, Sorry if this was posted already but in the Star Wars comic of the March-April issue of the Lego Club magizine, There was the white maloander. It's in the top right hand corner. Why would lego do that? If someone can scan a copy of it that would be great! Not the best but here's a picture I took. Thanks for pointing it out. Quote
The Legonater Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 Wait where did you see the figs of this set? It was a while back, but I believe the picture has been posted on the first page. Quote

Well it's not on the frontpage but it doesn't matter I can wait until proper pics of the set.awesomebrick There is a difference between the first page - as in first page of this topic And frontpage - which is the EB Frontpage you get when you tap in the www... In the future check the first page of this topic and our news picture gallery - also linked in the same post. There's plenty of pics there of the White Mandalorian minifig. There's even a dedicated topic on that sole minifig - I think we've been discussing it since Fenruary or so. Oh yeah, it's NOT a set. Quote

FinalFeature Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 (edited) 10212 - UCS Imperial ShuttlePieces: 2503 Minifigs: 5 (Shuttle Pilot, Darth Vader, Imperial Officer, Stormtrooper, & Luke Skywalker) Price: 239.99 GBP / 259.99 USD Release: September 2010 S@H Interesting. So is this official. I wonder if it will be on display at San Diego Comic Con this year just like the tantive 5 was last year? Edited April 20, 2010 by LegoGalactus Quote
Rufus Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 Interesting. So is this official. I wonder if it will be on display at San Diego Comic Con this year just like the tantive 5 was last year? Did I miss something? That's big news, but no fanfare. Well spotted, LegoGalactus; I wonder where KimT found that info? At 2500 pieces that's a big set. If those pieces are all in the shuttle it's going to have a huge wingspan and be difficult to display. Perhaps there will be a landing pad after all. Quote
Future74 Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 Indeed well spotted LegoGalactus! A USC Shuttle with 2500+ pieces could/should make an excellent set, but I hope it's just the shuttle and no landing pad. This way all effort/detail/size can be put in the shuttle. As for the details I hope they finally add a boarding ramp as it is supposed to be, under the cockpit. CommanderFox Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 Interesting. So is this official. I wonder if it will be on display at San Diego Comic Con this year just like the tantive 5 was last year? Btw its Tantive 4. Good point! I really hope they add a landing platform! CommanderFox Quote

I don't recall seeing an "official" announcement yet. As far as I can tell, the only information available is the set number and the minifigs that are apparently associated with it. Quote

The stuff you guys are mentioning has been there months...- Tilius If it was there for months, why does nobody remember it? KimT or some other Ambassador sneakily updated the first post with new descriptions. The news make me hungry for Bane Speeder pics. I can´t imagine this set costing 50 bucks. It is a Coruscant taxi. I could have imagined the set as 15€ counterpart for Twin-Pod cloud car. It really has to be oversized, and oversized means explooo-oooit. Quote
TheBrickHitHouse Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 2500 bricks for the shuttle? That's UCS not system - no way u could have a minifig set that big for just a shuttle! Cad Bane's speeder at £44.99 for a 350 brick set is the most horrifying thing I've heard in the world of Lego in some time... Quote

Klaus-Dieter Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 (edited) Thank you very much for this information on 10212, KimT, and for posting it, LegoGalactus! It's really too bad that the Imperial Shuttle will be an UCS version. I hoped so much for a re-designed version of the Imp. Shuttle we had many years ago. A non-UCS, non-Mini, non-Midi scaled Imp. Shuttle is that much needed and would surely make a superb set if the Endor landing platform would be included. So there will supposably even be a second exclusive SW set this year, don't you think? But what could it be? Will it be based on the OT or the CW/PT? If it's based on the OT I hope it won't be Cloud City since again a Cloud City for "only" 150 Euros would surely be again a disappointing set. So maybe we'll see a new Hoth Base: medical room (medical droid already included in Palpatine's Shuttle) and control center? Klaus-Dieter Edited April 21, 2010 by Klaus-Dieter Quote
Darth Bug Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 What Asia poster? The one on which you can see the minifgs... The one which started the thread about the 10212 Quote
