The Swamp speeder is definitely a clone wars line product, bariss her eyes are way too big to be rots.

The reason the Super droids don't have rocket arms is simple, those are actually commanders.

It's not that odd. The rocket arms have only appeared in Clone Wars sets, as far as I know, so this is just their ROTS arms. Makes sense, as they only had standard arms in the films.

Now that you put it that way, it makes sense.

I think the SBD has normal arms because it is a preview picture and the set is still a work in progress.

It says in the pic that it's new for Febuary. I think if it's coming out in Feb, then it can't be a WIP still.

That is what I use mine for but I don't think that is the reason. They probably used the rocket arms as a test try and found that it wasn't a good idea.

TCW are due to move to Phase II armour, but not this early. It's deffiantley ROTS.

Finally digged up the old scanner from storage. Here is a better photo of the Swamp Speeder.

Sorry I spelt it wrong. It is a Swamp Speeder, not Swarm. I suffered from making the mistake of rushing to print without doing a better job of editing.

This is the NZ/Aust edition of the catalogue and the Green and Red stars usually mean this is exclusive to one store. In NZ we're talking about either Kmart, Warehouse, Farmers or Toyworld.

I hope this scan can clear up some of the speculation so far.

Thanks for the better scan! It looks very interesting with the non-CW Barriss Offee minifigure. However, I actually would have liked a CW version as it would've gone well with Ahsoka (although I don't have one ).

The box photos of 8091 and 8092 are found.

8091 is limited edition.

Oooh, that Swamp Speeder is a work of art. I am buying 2, even though I will have to Barriss' then . I will also pick up 2 Arc-170's.

R4-P44 (not R4-P17) just has a normal astromech head, as you can see in Clone O' Patra's post which has a huge box art that FBTB admins stiched stitched together.

Can't wait to see even more pics!

That's just you. If you look at the hi-res version, you will see that it's the regular old dome. And why wouldn't it be? R4-P44 dpesn't have the usual R4 dome. See:

Don't worry, I know my SW, I knew it was R4-P44. Also, those droids weren't used in Arc-170s at the time, so I realise that I shouldn't have bothered bringing it up. I can't say I am dissapointed, those droids are so ugly.

I'm going to go with Felucia, which is another swampy planet, also seen in Force Unleashed. According to wookiepedia (yeah, I know, it can be edited by anyone), that's where she got killed in Order 66, so would make some sense. This also adds to the fact it's a ROTS era set, as that's when 66 is. Or, Lego have got her confused with Luminara Unduli who was on Kashyyk, and in the last set with a swamp speeder. Either way, I'm fairly sure it's not Clone Wars, just the new style of eyes with pupils.

- The trooper has a new torso print if the set was ROTS they could have easily kept the old model, no need for a new one.

- Bariss has seen a lot of screen time on the clone wars, why would they put her in a ROTS set?

- The fact that the swampspeeder was originally an ep 3 set has no relation on whether it could be clone wars or not.

- Bariss's minifig: offcourse, it's a bit blurry. But if I look at the face, I see big eyebrows/lips and prety big eyes for a minifig, all in all it looks like one of the over styled clone wars faces

No price information in the catalog. That pic is everything there is in the catalog about the Swamp Speeder. There's pics of the other Jan 2010 sets but I didn't scan them since there's already better pics of those sets (eg Freeco, BPs, ARC 170 and Tie Defender).

Personally I think it will be priced similar to the Pirate Tank. Both the Swamp Speeder & Pirate Tank are exclusives and the box seem to be of similar size.

What? Are you kidding? To me it looks much more around the lines of the Freeco Speeder, so I'd say 20-25 USD.

As for Barriss' eyes, I don't think they are CW style, but rather kinda like this, but with highlights/pupils:

I honestly believe both kimT and Ras saw bariss with the CTT. which makes me wonder, if TLC decided to put Bariss here, what awesome minifig took her place next to aayla?

I haven't opened that one yet, but I think it is molded because the fig does have a name.

Thanks for the infos 501st Commando ! If you don't mind, can you tell us if the eyes of the minifigs are standard Lego Star Wars eyes (full black) or white dot eyes ? And if the "crown" on top of the Talz head from the Freeco can be removed ?

If you mean the arc pilots then they are black with a small white dot.

Just to add on the box of the freeco it shows that Anikan is a double sided head. The other side has goggles, and a mask.

The battle packs are great that they each have two different minifigs and then two standard ones.

L-O-V-E Barriss! I wonder why LEGO decides to put pupils on SW figs now! I don't think they will go back and redo all of the figs and put dot eyes because look at Luke's Landspeeder, he and Obi's face don't have pupils. I guess they will just put pupils for new figures.

About the Barriss, I was surprised that she was in a ROTS set. (I hate CW figs BTW) But I was happy cuz I hate CW figs. Why didn't they add any deatail too her hood and cape? I recall her having some type of lepard pattern... I guess either she will be in the CTT CW version or maybe someone else will take her place next to Aayla. BTW, if Barriss was in the CTT with Aayla, it would make more sense for it to be ROTS since she and her both died together. I thought it would be ROTS anyways since it is the 5th anniversary of the ROTS movie.

But let's face it, we can't be 100% sure about the sets now. (Well maybe I can't ) Since someone just found a set on a magazine completley out of the blue and no one knew about it, I will be not agreeing with anything for now until I see it...

Ok, first of all, I never said it would ruin my collection so I am guessing you must be talking about someone else.

Second of all, It isn't a big deal. Like Darth said, "They are just two little dots". Although you should be happy they didn't change the Phase 2 Clone helmets...
