Thats the same for me. Anyone know if the landspeeder is a limited edition or just a regular set?

It's a special edition. Just look at the "Special Edition" logo. :hmpf_bad:

This is from a USA Ebay seller.

It is a pity about the set being special edition as it will mean it will only be in some shops and the only shops I live near to that sell lego have a pretty poor selection, it looks like i will have to order it of shop of home.

Okay people, there's a topic for the new heads - go there to discuss them. Not here

There's a topic for availability and exclusivity - go there instead of discussing it here.

"Stay On Target!"

So stop commenting on those subjects here.

Please refrain from having me quote myself in here :hmpf_bad:

It may be special edition in the US, but surely it isn't so in the REST OF THE WORLD.

Deroute again and you can all spend the holidays in a cold place of reflection.

Do you guys and girls think that Cad Bane will have new molds for his blaster pistols, because the two blasters he is sporting right now don't look a thing like the ones in the TV show.

>SNIP<

Hopefully the will be new, but like in the old TT, the clone commander had Western pistols. But that was before they made the new ones. If they make new molds, the pistols could be used with Jango.

My opinion is no. I would love it if they did, but I don't recall any instances where TLG has created a new accesory piece for one fig.

Lego would not have to do much to make his blasters, they could use the gun from the Agents series and in the a new remolding include a gun sight on top. In any case I would guess 'Brickarms' or someone like them will produce such a weapon for us all to buy for Mr. Bane.

Oh, yeah breathe easy folks, Luke's Landspeeder I feel by the looks of 'Special Edition' is usually even found on regular release City sets so I would not worry too much.

ARGH!

JCC1004, when you show that image, I start to think Lego just doesn't want to make the set look good by adding some SNOT, or atleast making the stripes nice and curved, as they should be :hmpf_bad: No offence to you at all, btw.

Remember, this is Lego. There is no (cost efficient) way of creating such stripes with plates and tiles, so the only way TLC could have done it more accurate is to make the whole front one big sticker. Is that really what you want? :sceptic:

Uhm, isn't that exactly what the blaster that we have already is? :sceptic: Banes blasters are similar enough to Lego's that they don't need to do anything IMO.

I don't know whether this has already been posted but I found these Pictures:

Good find Joey, but posting preliminary images is not allowed.

Captain Green Hair.

Very very sorry if they have, Its just I looked back about 10 pages and could not see any of these pictures.

If it has been posted, Please don't shout just tell "Yes they have been" and please don't roll your eyes.

Yes, you're right. But I think they still could have done better than this.

Joey Lock: These pictures are already known, and they are confidential, so you aren't allowed to post them.

Please remove them before the mods do.

Posting preliminary images is not allowed!

So I'm pretty sure that I know the minifigs from each set:

The Slave 1 has Han Solo, new modelled Boba Fett, Bossk (presumed) and carbon frozen Solo.

The Clone Turbo Tank probably has Anakin, Ahsoka, Cad Bane, a Clone Trooper, a Battle Droid and a minifig which is obviously a jedi knight, blue skinned so it could refer to a prelim of Ayla Secura

Plo Koon's starfighter obviously contains Plo Koon and an unnamed bronze-like astromech droid

I'm pretty sure the Grievous starfighter contains droid EV-A4-D, jedi Nahdar Vebb and the newly modelled Grievous

The Wampa Cave seems to have a Hoth Luke, pilot Dack, a skeleton and obviously the Wampa himself

The Emperor's Shuttle seems obvious, it contains the emperor, battle damaged Darth Vader (again?), a Clone Pilot and a Medical Droid

Just thought to share this info with you. Of course it's not confirmed yet but I'm pretty sure my answer is (almost) right

Mod in the making.

Yes we have seen them. The were posted by KimT a few pages back with the link ' '. But those pictures have been removed, and so will those I expect.

Greivous's fighter, every time I look at it, I know for sure that the Cockpit will change.

OFF TOPIC: Come on guys, we should be able to recognize the Landspeeder from the first movie. If you don't know the details of A New Hope, how do you know Star Wars at all? No offense intended, but the facts are everywhere!

I saw this article on sky news earlier and though you guys had to see it! There is footage of the wampa and plo koon's starfighter and other brief shot of the august sets!

Look at that, I win! The next shot of the Wampa, and it's already different!

I love the redesign of the Snow Speeder. It matches the old ones, but it is it's own set. The cave is looking better, and Plo's fighter looks pretty normal to me. The torso on the CW Jedi is very good, as well as Luke's new torso.

I love the lightsaber shoot out function!

One engine is supposed to be damaged. It's not an error. It was in ANH. It's movie accurate. See?

Oooh... I never noticed that. And usually what I don't notice LEGO dosen't care about, unless it's a nasty surprise like no ball turrets on the Rep. Gunship.

Thanks! :sweet: I even saw some new trains is the background. :look: That Snowspeeder looks really nice and the Wampa is looking better. I just hope we don't get another Zev in the final set.

I just noticed that TLG put the "ZZ" on the Snowspeeder! :cry_happy:

Damn. No good shot of GG's fighter or the droid general himself! :hmpf_bad: Oh well, at least we got a good close-up of Nadahr. He's looking great! Thanks for the link.

Shame we never got to see any of the turbo tank, as these definitely seem to be more recent builds of those sets.

Wampa looks much better and Plo Koon has his blue lightsaber. Would have really liked to see a more finalized Aayla Secura.
