Darth Legolas Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 Oh man i hope not, another Obi or Anakin will jack the price up, a good one would be Rex in could assault gear, a Tolz (is it Tol for one or always Tolz), and one of those beast they rode.Maybe with the jedi ship they could do Kit and then use a mon calamari and have Na'dar, then the grievous star fighter could be him and a couple of Magna sort of like the end of that episode. Talz! And you really wanna know something, Obi and especially not Anakin wouldn't jack up the price, but a cold assault trooper would most certainly, and Rex, you're out of your mind! No offense, of course. Not to mention, Plo Koon's fighter is Plo Koon's fighter, no Vebb or Fisto. Yeah i was mixed up, and hay cant hurt to hope. I won't bring up that you said hope posts shouldn't go in hear... But I will say that there are slim chances of any CW minifigs going good in hear. The only minifigs we're guaranteed to get are in Plo Koon's fighter, which will have (of course) Plo Koon and a Droid. The one good idea that you brought up though, is if Grievous's Fighter came with two Magna Droids. And to the extent of that, it's guaranteed that set will be based on the Lair episode, meaning if the price turned to $40, we could see a Fisto or a Vebb. Quote
The Who Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 Mkay time to get back on topic. Sorry KimT, I can be easily distracted sometimes. (A lot of the time)I heard ARC-170 will include us kit fisto, 1 pilot and a captain fig. While Freeco bike include us Talz and either Obi Wan or Anakin. But unconfirmed though, heard from my friend. For one: Is your friend even relatively reliable? And does he actually work with Lego, or is this wishful thinking? Two: Why would Kit Fisto come with an ARC-170? That doesn't exactly make sense. And three: I'm about sick of seeing Anakin and Obi-Wan in sets. Those two characters have been the focus of just too many SW sets for my liking. Quote
Raphy Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 ADH015 - It's Wat Tambor! k back on topic, personally I'd love a $12 Freeco speeder with Obi-Wan with a parka and Rex in Cold Assault gear. Okay, Obi isn't needed, just wanted, but I need (repeat: NEED) a Rex in Cold Assault gear. k lego? Quote
Klaus-Dieter Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 I bet that these eleven sets mentioned until now won't be all SW sets we'll see next year. It's very supposably that there won't be as many SW sets in 2010 then this year (since this year was the 10th years anniversary) but nevertheless I think that there'll be. Hard To Find sets (like this year's Pirate Tank): one PT/CW set and one OT set or two PT/CW sets Exclusive sets: one PT/CW set one OT set (very supposably a Cloud City set) What do you think? Klaus-Dieter Quote
Penitent Tangent Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 Definitely not, I imagine we'll see the Malevolence as the 'Tantive IV' set for next year that was hinted at during the quest for R2 short. And like you said, they'll be other special edition sets like the Pirate Tank, I'd be surprised if we don't see some kind of Cad Bane/bounty hunter set. Quote
-JD- Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 Two: Why would Kit Fisto come with an ARC-170? That doesn't exactly make sense. Does The Clone Wars Season Two ring a bell? And three: I'm about sick of seeing Anakin and Obi-Wan in sets. Those two characters have been the focus of just too many SW sets for my liking. I totally agree. It is just like Qui-Gon back in the good 'ol days. Quote
The Who Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 Does The Clone Wars Season Two ring a bell? I totally agree. It is just like Qui-Gon back in the good 'ol days. Oh wow. I feel stupid. I completely forgot there was a Season Two. That bell's getting dusty... They've only made one Qui-Gonn in years, and that one was at least fleshie. Quote

They've only made one Qui-Gonn in years, and that one was at least fleshie. Pwned. I have over 10 Qui Gons from the sets back in 1999/2000. Anyways, I would like to see Fitso in CW style. Hopefully if this rumour is true he will have new printing! But, I suspect the same head piece. Quote
RileyC Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 I would really like the arc 170 to have kit fisto in it. I didnt get him in the jedi starfighter cause it was too expensive in New Zealand. But I really hope the freeco speecer doesnt come with obi wan or anakin they appear too much in sets but I would like to see a Tal or Talz in the set because I like how we are seeing lots of creatures in sets these days. Thanks for the info Baby! Quote

No idea, anyone know who is Captain Jag? But Fisto is in it. Three: Was told there was a minifigs with spears and minifigs in the snow outfit unless he told me the other minifig looks like Snow Trooper. Also, waas told that TIE Defender comes with 1 Pilot and 1 Storm Trooper as for Luke Landspeeder it comes with Luke, Obi, C-3PO, R2-D2 and Sand Trooper. Quote

Is there or is there not a cold assault trooper? Wait, I get it. Ani and Obi both in their parkas. Hey, I like that. They may not be cold assault troops, but at least it's something new. Quote

That doesn't sound like a $7 set at all... Baby, could you ask your friend to provide pictures? Please! Usually they came out last week! Quote

RileyC Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Wow this is so confusing . If it wouldnt be too much trouble Baby could you put everything you know about the new sets in one long post? Quote
ADHO15 Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 But I really hope the freeco speecer doesnt come with obi wan or anakin they appear too much in sets but I would like to see a Tal or Talz in the set because I like how we are seeing lots of creatures in sets these days. It's always Talz, plural or singular. Like sheep or deer. No idea, anyone know who is Captain Jag? But Fisto is in it. CT-55/11-9009, better known as Jai'galaar or Jag, was a clone trooper pilot. He was picked to first test the ARC-170 starfighters, so it makes sense that we get him in one. We've seen Oddball already in his Phase-1 armour, so Jag maybe too. What doesn't make sense is why we get him with Kit Fisto. He had a close relationship with Plo Koon during the Clone Wars, right up until he shot him down in his fighter. If we do get Plo Koon with his fighter, this ARC-170 will be great to accompany it. Thanks, baby. Quote

Have we seen Jag yet in CW? If not, I'm sure we will, he was one of the only few Pilots people payed attention to in Episode III. Also, when does Kit Fisto fly an ARC-170 in season 2? Is it in the preview? Um? Quote

Sorry about that. I knew what I meant when I wrote it. Jag wasn't in the first series, but we may see him in the second. I didn't see it in the preview, but then we didn't see any ARC-170s, droid tri-fighters, juggernauts, shuttles for Palpatine, etc. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 I've just found pics of some of next year's sets: http://www.imperiumdersteine.de/showpost.p...p;postcount=338 And we finally got a Talz, looks pretty impressing IMO. Quote
Commander Assassin Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 (edited) I've just found pics of some of next year's sets: http://www.imperiumdersteine.de/showpost.p...p;postcount=338And we finally got a Talz, looks pretty impressing IMO. Great find! But I think those have the transparent CONFIDENTIAL over them. I think that's illegal here. Let me quick print them out! I love the Imp's BP! It looks like we are getting the AT-AT driver, and also an imperial general! (like veers) I am very sad that we are not getting CATs. At least we get a Talz. The prices I am estimating are somewhat expensive though. $20 USD for the freeco, and $30 USD for the Tri-Fighter. I can not make out the piece count for the Defender though. ADHO15 Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 (edited) Wow! These look great! Thanks a lot, Lego-Freak! The Freeco speeder definitely comes with either Obi-Wan or Anakin and a Talz. It reminds me a lot of those great MOCs people posted here a while ago. It looks to have 142 pieces. The droid tri-fighter is certainly not a tri-droid. It comes with 3 rocket battle droids, much like the Hyena bomber from early this year. Around 268 pieces for this one, I think. The TIE defender looks good, although it's not for me. I'm no EU fan. It comes with a stormtrooper and a shadow trooper/tie pilot and maybe has 343 pieces. The rebel battlepack looks like it comes with three of the new Hoth rebels and one rebel pilot. The vehicle looks to be custom, as usual. The piece count doesn't look right though. Both BPs look like they say 442 pieces which is much too high for a battlepack. The Imperial battlepack consists of 2 snowtroopers, an AT-AT pilot and some kind of Imperial officer. It includes a 74-Z speeder bike in white, as well as some small scenery. Discuss! Millacol88 Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Thanks for the link! They all look pretty cool, minus the tri-fighter. The TIE Defender looks great, as does the freeco speeder. I think this confirms that the battle packs are OT! Eat your words, Darth Sion! EDIT: Great find! But I think those have the transparent CONFIDENTIAL over them. I think that's illegal here. Let me quick print them out! Its only illegal to deeplink them. And your right. Right click and save! Right click and save! Right click and save! Quote
KimT Posted September 6, 2009 Author Posted September 6, 2009 Its only illegal to deeplink them. And your right. Right click and save! Right click and save! Right click and save! Waay ahead of you Wow these sure look awesome. The BP's are all we could hope for. The Freeco bike is awesome and so is the TIE Defender. The Tri-Droid is a little meh!, but the design is ok. Thanks for sharing that link with us Quote
Millacol88 Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 I've just realized that the TIE Defender has two figs! Looks like a TIE pilot and an extra stormie! I also noticed that the Tri-fighter has zero new minifigs, just three rocket binocular battle droids. Other than that, though, I'm getting all of these. I can't wait for pictures of Luke's Landspeeder, the CTT, etc. Quote
Natman8000 Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Those new sets look excellent! Freeco speeder- Not impressed. I think it is great that we can get a talz and Obi/anakin in a moderately cheap set, but I think this one will end up being 17/20 dollars. Tri fighter- Looks like this one will be just like the hyena bomber, also 20$. I don't like ho they are just sizing up the past sets and throwing in rocket droids. Tie defender- I can't tell how much this one will be, but it looks very promising, from what I see the black pilot looks like a death star trooper with a closed helmet. Battlepacks- Both look very substantial, especially the imperial one. Finally, the AT-AT driver in a cheap set! And a base and speeder. Not bad. The rebel one looks okay, the speeder that they have is a nice touch. Quote
