Thank you very much for the new pics, baby and Jammie, and for the link to the video, Christian! :classic:

The Hoth Wampa Cave set is  - I'm really content with the Wampa and the new Hoth Luke minifigure.

The only thing which disturbs me is that again Zev is included and not another Rebel pilot.

The new Slave I is  , too, - I really like that TLG already included that new carbonite block this year and not firstly in the Cloud City set next year. Boba is very detailed and looks great, too.

The only thing which disturbs me is that Bossk is green instead of brown/tan/grey. And of course the price is usury: 70 Euros would even be expensive but ok, but 90 Euros for one ship and only three minifigs is really usury.

I'm looking forward to NY Toy Fair in order to hopefully see some pics of the AT-AT and 10212. I'm really surpirsed whether 10212 will now be a playset or an UCS set - hopefully it'll be a playset.

Did no-one notice this picture? :classic:

It's the Shuttle pilot!

That's just solidified my decision, and made my day.

Yes! Closed-helmet pilot!

Oh, and Slave 1 looks great. Two must-buys, no matter the cost.

The link has probably already been made, but the demonstration of the Slave I shows Han is actually in the carbonite block - which seems kind of pointless unless we're getting a carbonite freezing chamber, don't it?

No. It adds an extra minifig to the set plus it gives people the opportunity to MOC their own freezing chamber or something else for Cloud City scenes, and TLG can re-use it later. I just hope there's something to cover the back of the Carbonite block, otherwise you could either see Han in it or a big, empty space. I'm just disappointed with Bossk being green, but as long as it's close to the dark-tan color I'm fine with it.

Now I see the video, I want that Slave I even more! It's amazing, can't wait to get it..

I thought that on the preliminary box pictures (with the confidential marks on it) there was a picture of Bossk with a yellowish/sand coloured head instead of green. It would be a bit disappointing if they would not follow the movie and released him in green :hmpf_bad:

Han and a separate carbonite box are ingenious though. :cry_happy:

Yeah, it had that color on the prelim. box, so I'm really hoping that he gets the right color..

Other than that, has anybody else seen that Boba Fett's helmet is sand green? That's more accurate to the movies, and looks better than the normal green colors of the old Boba Fett (in my opinion).

First I thought the Slave I had stickers, like there were on the front of the AAT set from last year, but it doesn't look like it anymore, though maybe there are two on the front. Lowest part of the ship, on the green parts. Maybe it's a printed piece?

Guys, I was watcing the video and I do believe I saw a handle on the turbo tank, so the dropship can pick it up :cry_happy:

That would be really cool. But it can also be used as a pick up handle like the venator though.

Why the hell would TLC design a piece just so they could include an extra minifig? Why would they want to increase the amount of money it costs them to make the set? Your 'theory' makes no sense. Nor would they include it just so people could moc a freezing chamber - people could've done that with the previous carbonite Han.

And we're already rumoured to get a Cloud City set this year.

I never said they did it so people can make MOCs, it gives people the opportunity to do so, and maybe you have the old carbonite Han, I don't know, but it was horrible. :hmpf_bad:

A new 3D Han in carbonite is much, and much better, and not everybody has the old one.

The Cloud City set is rumored for next year. It hasn't even been confirmed yet. And not everyone may be able to get it, so if they can get the Slave I and build a freezing chamber themselves, then the carbonite Han is useful for them.

And when I said "TLG can re-use it later", I was referring to a Cloud City set.

There's no need for a discussion about this, so let's just end it. :sceptic:

So yeah, you did.

Which is exactly what I was saying. The new carbonite mould is going to be used in a carbonite freezing chamber/Cloud City set. Why are you arguing when you agree with me?

There's no need for a discussion about this, so let's just end it.

There's no need for any discussion about anything in the world. But as far as I can tell, this is a discussion forum, so saying WE DON'T NEED TO DISCUSS THIS completely contradicts the point of this forum. But for Christ's sake, you AGREE with me and yet you're managing to turn it into an argument.

Actually, I only said it gave people the opportunity to do so. Again, I never said that the TLG made it so people could do that - I guess they don't even think about it, I only said that people could use it for MOCs.

Which is exactly what I was saying. The new carbonite mould is going to be used in a carbonite freezing chamber/Cloud City set. Why are you arguing when you agree with me?

You said that it was rumored for this year.

Sure, I am the one who wants an argument? Then who's the person who said that we'd better quit this?

I don't say it another time again - let's just stop this before it turns into a war and we both get kicked out. :hmpf:

Now back to the discussion outside this:

[quoting midscale33:] Guys, I was watcing the video and I do believe I saw a handle on the turbo tank, so the dropship can pick it up

I think it's a handle to pick it up with your hand just like the Venator had, but maybe you could be right if we will see the LAAT/c carrying a CTT. I don't think so though, as the CTT is fast enough to go by itself. (Walkers aren't fast so if they need to be transported quick the LAAT/c comes in, but the CTT is a wheeled vehicle.)

I had another look at the video, and it does look like there's a vertical technic beam to use with the LAAT/c. It appears to be 'up' in the CTT on the left of the display (0:43), and 'down' in the one on the right (1:49).

They use the LAAT/cs to ferry the walkers up to & down from the orbiting cruisers (at least according to one of the few CW episodes I've ever watched) so they may do the same with the TTs.

If so, so much the better! I've been looking for an excuse to buy the AT-OT set, now here it is. Good work, Lego.

The year doesn't matter! The point I was making was that the new carbonite mould will probably be used in a Cloud City set, which is exactly what you're saying!

Sure, I am the one who wants an argument? Then who's the person who said that we'd better quit this?

Don't try and take the moral high ground. I didn't say anyone wants an argument, I said that you've created an argument even though you agree with what I said - so why do that?

You just don't make ANY sense.

(Sorry for the large pic)

I'm really looking forward to this set!

Speculation is fine. Trying to sort out rumors is fine. Discussions are fine.

Personal attacks are not. I think a few people in this thread need to cool off. Go outside and walk around for a bit, then come back and discuss the multi-faced canopy or the use of a carbonite block. So let's relax and discuss this like adults and not angry children, or a few people are going to be taking a break.

Thank you.

Wow, that's neat! I didn't expect that. Even more reason to get the dropship! The CTT is turning out to be quite a must-buy, and GG's SF is starting to look better now too with the printing on the cockpit. Still would have been nice if it were smoother. Oh well.

It would be really good if the CTT could attach to the dropship.

However that clip does not look that strong especially to hold the weight of the CTT up.

Ya it would be tottally awesome which i said earlier. I just ordered the AT-Ot and can't wait to get it  I'm just a bit worry it might not be strong enough to hold that massive clone turbo tank.

is everybody blind??

the cockpit is the same on all the pictures we have seen about this set, 5 SIDED!

end of!

Now you've confused me. I know it's five sided, I'm pointing out the printing... Is that okay?

I don't think the CTT will attach to the LAAT/C, I don't even think it can in the movies!

I don't think that's a handle, but it could be, I just don't think it's likely, that looks more like that long technic piece with holes on the sides. I think a handle isn't made out of that on the AT-TE and AT-OT, or is it? The trooper on the right of that pic seems to have the ARC-trooper gear. I can also spot a storage thing inside.

Is there any chance that Bossk's head color could change? When I zoom in I see dark tan hands, but the head is green, so I suppose it could change? Maybe..

Here's a blurry pic of it:

@Tilius: Just cool down for once..grmph..
