LEGO Star Wars 2010 Pictures and Rumors

It's nerve racking for me, being much closer to New York than many other members here, close than you may know...

I'm crossing my fingers that 10212 will be seen there, but all evidence points towards it's presence. We'll finally get a better view at the Med Droid, and some further editions of minifigs, like Greivous and Plo Koon's droid. We'll get to see Anikans face, and possibly some views of the other rumored sets!

Toy fair will be nice, It'll be nice not stressing out whether Grievous will be good or not.

Comparing the size of GG's fighter to the other sets, it almost looks like a UCS set with a fig thrown in.(But of course, it's not doesn't have the 10000 designation.)

I used that picture in my post a while ago during the "cockpit war." I still think that it's a changed mold from the first pictures we had. It's from a video.

It's a very large set, but the thing that mostly puts me down about it are the "wings," they look wrong, as in, they cut of completely at a 90 degree angle, and then they put a fin on it, it looks hideous. Perhaps it was just built wrong, and the piece should have been rotated.

Edit: Blimey, loads more pics appeared as I was posting. Boba seems to be sand green and sand blue! Lovely detail on his helmet. The shuttle pilot looks a bit skeletal, and Injured Anakin looks like he got a nice tan on Mustafar.

Boba's new face!

Blimey, loads more pics appeared as I was posting. Boba seems to be sand green and sand blue! The shuttle pilot looks a bit skeletal, and Injured Anakin looks like he got a nice tan on Mustafar.

Indeed, it's a little odd to me that Anakin's tan, maybe he was more than I remember at the end of the movie. I think he should look more melted though. The old face was good to me, this one reminds me of an Indiana Jones character. I like the new Boba, sand blue's a little weird, but the fig is very good otherwise.

The joke within the joke was unintended.

The new Grievous looks really great. Still can't see him from a particularly good angle, but he looks a lot better than the old one. Not sure I like how they've done his multiple arms, but he'll at least look good with the two. The Aayla Secura looks really impressive too, I really like the amount of detail they've put onto her mold. Makes me wish they did a Clone Wars Kit Fisto.

Interesting that they gave Boba a face, I'm sure some EU fans will be mad about his human apperance, but again he looks great, along with Bossk and the carbonated Han. Really love the Wampa too.

I guess Plo Koon's starfighter isn't the most popular set, but I like those little designs and it should look good alongside Anakins and Ahsoka's. I do hope they do more of them in the future.. perhaps Mace Windu's? I like the colour scheme for his little droid.

It looks a little unfinished to me; I hope they lose all that white, and the dark tan wheel thingies. It has potential to be great, especially if the skis retract. But then I can't get enough of shuttles.

I really love Boba, and now with the new helmet!

Han Solo and Bossk are pretty neat too, I think it's great that Han Solo can be taken in and out of the piece.

THESE SETS ARE ASTONISHING! Slave 1 is a MUST-BUY in my book. I love Boba's face-it is so detailed and could work for a fleshie Jango Fett! Bossk looks fantastic with his awesome mold and torso. The carbonite is WIN and Han's torso is very well detailed. But why the smile? Couldn't they atleast make him a little more serious?

The set I am not really in to is the Wampa Attack and Grievous' Starfighter.

Wow! The detail on the new parts is just stunning! I gotta say, that Pilot freaks me out. But now we can swap it for a Rebel Pilot head and we'll have a new ARC pilot! Boba and Han in Carbonite look superb! Anakin and Bossk look good too.

This year is better than I imagined!

The new Boba is stunning, it even has the braided hair thing on his armor! The sand blue is a bit odd, but nothing some bley limbs can't fix. The 'zombie' pilot is a bit odd, but it looks alright when a helmet is on. The grievous is weird looking, almost like those lego custom minifigs you find on ebay with a action figure head on it The Aayla is looking great, with lekku printing
