That's a lot of minifigs in 8129. What's 3PO doing in there? Good to get General Veers without his visor on.

I was thinking the same thing about 3po. Perhaps some part of the base is included along with the walker, so that Han and 3po can run around just like in the movie? That would be nice.

I find it amusing that the AT-AT also has the exact same figures as the battlepack (plus more, of course). That General Veers is just the guy from the pack, I think.

I think the new bounty hunter is partly visable on the left page. Is it new, or another Weequay Pirate from the tank?

Definitely not one from the pirate tank, it does look like the one that was with Bane in that episode.

The two commando's look pretty cool, and it's nice that we get an assassin droid and a pirate, but I'm disappointed they didn't do Aurra Sing.

Am I the only one that thinks that the AT-AT could be the UCS set and that 10212 could be just a hundred dollar set, even though its unlikely because it has a UCS number.

I've also been wondering what exactly will come in Bane's speeder.

Possible, but unlikely... the minifgs book they gave out gives the AT-AT a set number in the 8000s, which is uncharacteristic for a UCS set. But then again, it lists the AT-AT figures under the "Exclusives" section, (Strangely ignoring the shuttle minifigs altogether) so I'd predict an Exclusive label for both of these sets, with the shuttle possibly being UCS... after all, it could well be just another ~$100 set, as the Tantive IV isn't really UCS and has a 10000s number.

And a better view of Grievous:

I'm in love with the new Grievous! Will you be my Valentine? ...ahem.

Up close and personal with some of the other figs:

I'm very happy with the figs this year! The amount of detail is incredible! The prices however are horrible. Eighty bucks for a Slave I?! No thank you. But no price is too high to get that new Grievous, and Aayla!

Strange that he has the old helmet and printing... I would have thought that the whole point was to go with the new armor.

But either way, looks good! Were these toy fair exclusives, or are these gonna be random throw-ins like the chrome 3pos?

I only just noticed the figures were different!

We are getting Captain Argious (spelling?) in the speeder by the looks of it! And a new Bounty Hunter!

Actually, the printed Senate Commando is a Senate Commando captain named Captain Jayfon.

Here's what he looked in the CW series (he got killed right at the beginning of the show):

800px-Senate_Commandos_Hostage_Crisis.jpg

I'll definitely be getting this set. A cheaper way to get a Senate Commando, Cad Bane, that Weequay bounty hunter and that awesome new Senate Commando captain!

Also, thanks for finding those minifig shots Oky Wan! Cad Bane and Grievous look great!

By the way, the white Boba Fett is apparently a freebie given to VIPs attending Toy Fair (like Joe Meno of Brickjournal or the guys at FBTB).

(An autographed Buzz Lightyear Cube Dude was also given)

HOLY CRAP! This is amazing! :cry_happy:

Grievous also looks cool and very detailed! I see you can finally lower/higher the neck/head so he can look down to a Jedi..and kill him!

Slave I tops my list, just need to check the price for my country, then comes GG's starfighter, I have the old one but I just buy it for the minifigs, no matter the cost!

BUT I JUST LOVE THAT NEW GRIEVOUS! :cry_happy:

Thank you very much for this link to the minifig pictures, Skyward72! :classic:

To the AT-AT:

It's great to get General Veers, Luke and a Rebel Trooper included.

And it's great to see that the AT-AT will be Hoth and not Endor related.

It's bad that so (it's very supposably that) the cockpit of the AT-AT will only hold one AT-AT Driver.

Besides it's really a pity that they didn't include Major Bren Darlin instead of the regular Rebel Trooper. :cry_sad:

I was thinking the same thing about 3po. Perhaps some part of the base is included along with the walker, so that Han and 3po can run around just like in the movie? That would be nice.

This would be totally awesome, Clone O'Patra!

Since the AT-AT will be to my knowledge a non-exclusive set and since the AT-AT itself is already very huge it's of course very unlickely that we're getting a decent base.

But if we've got much luck we might get a small control room with entrance and a laser cannon in front of it.

I mean: Without any small room it wouldn't have made any sense to include C-3PO and Han, don't you agree?!

I find it amusing that the AT-AT also has the exact same figures as the battlepack (plus more, of course). That General Veers is just the guy from the pack, I think.

I really hope that TLG will this time manage to give us the real General Veers minifig - meaning with four red and blue signs (instead of only three red and blue signs the Imperial Officer has). But in this point I'm regrettably very pessimistic. :sceptic:

So Endor AT-AT was a total lie... but there is an AT-AT and Cad Bane's speeder is real!

With me luckily earning the Hoth Rebel Base, the Echo Base and even planning to get this year's Hoth BPs and the Wampa Cave I must say that I really welcome it that the AT-AT will be Hoth related and not Endor related. Since I haven't got an AT-AT until now this gives me the possibility to build up a whole (Battle of) Hoth diorama.

We could always use the AT-AT as an Endor one, and I'm waiting for those 10212 pictures to come out! I'm almost sure of it, I remember they released the AT-OT and Dropship last year on the last day of the Toyfair.

Let's wait and see!

I didn't know that 10195 was firstly revealed the last day. So there is still hope that we'll see 10212 (and the AT-AT) then (and hopefully even the City fan's choice set).

The only thing I fear is that with the AT-AT being not Endor related, 10212 might be an UCS set (like the MF from 2007) and no playset (like Home One).

All these new molds. They look good, but somehow I still preffer that Lego uses existing pieces.

A new, Boba Fett, Grievous, Han in Carbonite, no clever solution for the Medical Droid. The other new molds I can understand. But, especially not for Boba Fett, don't get me wrong, the helmet looks great, but it feels less Lego than the other helmet. The printing on the torso is even worse, it completely neglects the shape of a Lego torso.

But I presume it's somekind of marketing strategie, especially for the collectors.

BTW, not any descent picture of Grievous? His arms look weird.

The new Fett looks like the best new figure from the whole lot. A new detailed helmet, new face, and separate jet pack! Awesome! The list of new limited edition figures is nice. From the figure list the AT-AT will be a great set.

I mean: Without any small room it wouldn't have made any sense to include C-3PO and Han, don't you agree?!

Well, we can always look to the X-Wing Fighter set as an example of minifigures just thrown in for the heck of it, but I agree that without some kind of little door or gun having Han and 3po would be kind of useless. Hopefully there will be some sort of small hallway, so that it will be two scenes: Snowtroopers chasing Han and 3po, and rebel and Luke fighting the AT-AT. I bet there's even a good chance we'll see another E-web. That'll make three!

Posted
That'll make three!

I make it four! We had them in 4504 Falcon, 7666 Hoth Base, 7749 Echo Base, and all different.

It'd be nice to get another base bit, but knowing Lego I'd put money on the figures being haphazardly thrown in like you suggest.

Thank you very much for the pics, Oky Wan Kenobi! :classic:

Bossk and Boba look imo  .

Looking at Bossk only the green skin color disturbs.

Sorry but the white Boba looks like chewing gum. :hmpf:

Regrettably the picture is very unclear where General Veers is set - so you can't see whether he has a new torso or only the one from the Snowtrooper BP is used. Can someone find a clearer picture on him? That would be really nice. :classic:

The torso and head of the medical droid look really  - the only thing which disturbs is that the legs and arms are in different color to the torso and head.

I really hope that one day TLG will release a big (or small) Hoth Base scenery with the tank in which Luke swims, an injured Luke, Major Bren Darlin and that new medical droid - that would be  !

Btw:

I still noticed that there will be even two (and not only one) Snowtroopers in the AT-AT. That means eight minifigs + the AT-AT + very supposably and hopefully some small base. Man - that will be getting a very expensive set (I fear 150 won't suffice)! :oh:

Ah, Grevious in full frontal.

4356854659_3e9a5c6844.jpg

He looks about as non-LEGO as possible, I' bet this one will becoming in one of those sealed bags from China. Still, he looks nice and cartoony just like the show, and I'm excited about curved battle droid arms that can hold things straight.

Beat by this much, but to see the whole thing go here, courtesy of FBTB.

True! But the other arms are kinda stuck-on. I like his legs, though, and CW or not he looks much more like the real Grievous than the white feller from the last starfighter. I'd like see what he looks like holding 'sabers.

Edit -^ thanks Cloney, I now I can see! And thanks, MrC. V

Grevious looks super. I don't like him with out his lightsabers he look funny but with them he looks great. I like his claws and his little fingers printed on the droid arms. Can't wait to get him.
