I have to say, looking at more pics of the shuttle it even looks more atrocious. The colors are crazy weird, there are big triangular gaps in each wing, and the inside is filled with an ugly Technic helmet-ing mechanism with bright colors like red. I never liked the look of the Attack Shuttle much either, but this looks like they took the same idea and did it with a terribly drab and mismatched color scheme, no cool functions like bombs and shooting…

Apart from the three fairly nice minifigures, this set has zero going for it. Throwing in some Shock Troopers would make it a little more appealing, or at least a decent, detailed interior. How about a little sick bay and some chairs and equipment, so Palpy can sit next to Anakin lying down and make sure he's alright?

I don't know what LEGO was thinking on that one…

I just looked at the generals starfighter (GG), really love the new Grievous - his eyes look organic while has body is all machine. Also he looks a lot better than the original figure - more true height and his arms and legs are better too !

Now we know why the cockpit is the way it is.

Also the cockpit appears to have an underbody trigger mechanism to slide the cockpit cover forward to pop the general out or backward to close.

Can't wait to get one of these !

I agree on that statement. I don't think that we even need a helmet attaching feature if it takes up the whole interior. You can just place the helmet on by yourself! :sceptic:

Also, we're getting Slave I pics! The minifigs look even better, and hopefully we'll see some videos soon of all these sets' play features. :sweet:

Yep, I'm looking at them too.....Slave 1 that is !

It's huge and AWESOME - I want it simply I want it !

The idea to store Han like that - sheer genius - there are little hand holds for his hands to grip hence he doesn't drop out of the bottom - fantastic Lego !

The new Boba Fett is cool and he comes with the older grey clone gun and accessory pack - I last saw come with Cpt. Rex, anyway this is built for play and kids are going to go nuts over this one and parents are going to be broke at Christmas time this year. Boba Fett is one of the most popular minifigs kids want of any Lego theme.

Oh, man every time I go back and refresh that flickr page some else pops up.

Now the CTT is there and Mr. Bane is so COOL !

Big hat, two blaster pistols and his odd breathing equipment around his neck - so COOL again !

He is one of my favorite CW characters, also that small walker looks a lot better in hi-res now - though I think it's a bit smaller than the ROTS one of a few years ago.

The tank looks AWESOME and leaves the original one for ROTS way behind - fantastic !!

Dam it I really going to be broke at Christmas time this year and it's only for me (hehe) :grin: !!!!!

Grevious looks super. I don't like him with out his lightsabers his look funny but with them he looks great. I like his claws and his little fingers printed on the droid arms

Exactly what I thought, his arms are done in kind of a strange way, they look a little odd. But great with his lightsabers, and either way he's a huge improvement over the old one. But it is disappointing he doesn't come with the cape.

Our first good close-up of Aayla, and I have to say, this is one amazing fig. The headpiece is just perfect, and I'm just going to brasso the whites of the eyes off so the fig looks somewhat normal. Not to mention the set comes with a bunch of other great figs. A must buy!

On the other hand...

Hmmm..... 8129? From the minifigures we've seen, I'm guessing we're getting an ATAT and maybe a small portion of Echo Base! Hopefully Lego will reveal that later at Toy Fair! *crosses fingers*

Also, I really like that Wampa (But 40 dollars is way too much in my book) but Grievous, :sick: I am very dissapointed with......

Edit: On the Exclusive Minifigure picture, I can make out "AT-AT/(Something)" in the "8129", could the something be Echo Base?

Was about to say... :tongue: It may have something extra though. I'd have to say I'm against the new Grievous. It's great for Grievous but it's impeccably far from a normal Lego minifig. As JimButcher said, it's something Mega would do.

I like the new Grievous and think it is very realistic. Much more so than its predecessor. I suppose Lego has realized that they have to move on with the times and produce better and more detailed figurines. I'd rather have the new figures than the same figure with just a different costume.

"No Doctor! Not another toothyank... NO!!!!!!!" and the crazy thing is... well, just look at the way the lightsabers are held.

These pics are increadible, though. New Gerivous- although cartoony- is more accurate than the last. The Med. Droid is superb, Han has unexpected new torso, and that carbonite... but that's just the biggening. Boba is the best I've ever deamt of, Bossk is extremly realistic, Bane is in my want list, Aayla's nice too, burnt Ani is sweet (not sweat), the doctor is... okay. And the Speeder and At AT figs look good too. Can't wait!

EDIT: I wonder if Gerivous's head is posable?

Okay time for my two cents.

Boba is THE GREATEST FIGURE EVER!!! Slave 1 is a 100000% must buy, bossk in sand green is superb and Han, oh jesus han, is just spectacular. And I loved that function in the RAS with the flick fir missiles, and It looks as though they reproduced it into the slave 1, It works great. The only IFF is the bley technic pin on the end of Boba's blaster, I pray that that gets changed before it's finalized.

The CTT is gorgeous, ATRT is super cool and Aalya and Cad Bane are to die for, new head gear and Duros head, even if it is with the breathing aparatus.

Wampa is awesome, but the cave is iffy, for forty dollars I would like to see more detail but I'm still definatley going to get it.

Plo's starfighter is going at the bottom of my list, I already have the figure and nothing really jumps out at you as a must get. Though it will be great for people who missed out on the RGS last year.

GG star-fighter is looking much better, the cockpit looks fine when put in comparison with the rest of the set. I will probably get this set rather then just getting the figs off of bricklink. GG is pretty cool, the arms are a bit weak but the body and head are superb.

Cad-banes speeder is a must get Cad, pirate and senate commando captain is awesome. I don't even care if the speeder is a pile of crap (though I pray it isn't) I'm getting this one for the figs. I hope its avaliable in Canada.

AT-AT has a crap-load of figures, new Bespin Han is amazing!!! And Its really sad but I don't have a C3po, well I did but i've misplaced his head. So it's a relief to get a new one. This is definatley going to be under the tree this year if its avaliable in Canada.

DAMN! I love the detail in the new Han in carbon.

So do I. I wish that for that price, Lego would have included a back, though.

It looks a little unfinished to me; I hope they lose all that white, and the dark tan wheel thingies. It has potential to be great, especially if the skis retract. But then I can't get enough of shuttles.

Blegh. While the general shape is good, the colors are a problem. Hopefully I'll be able to take them out. The cockpit might need a lot of work, too.

EDIT: Gotta say though, Grievous is :sick:

I partially agree. I like the body, but the head is ugly. He can't turn it, and it looks rounded off... the ear things ruin it.

The sand blue is not odd, It is movie accurate, I suggest you watch Episodes V-VI

I'm not so sure. It was more grey than it was blue in the movies. This is pushing it. Plus, the combination of sand blue, sand green, grey torso, green printing, and red is just too much.

Heres a clue to the exclusive minifigures. A book was given away with an all white boba fett mini figure at the Lego preview party.

It looks like we'll be getting Senate Commandos for a better price- yay! I'm glad I didn't get the Venator now, then. Plus we get one of Bane's cohorts. I always liked the Weequay figs TLG made for the pirate tank.

I wish I had the two senate commandos from the Venator so when I get Cad Bane's speeder I'll have four senate commandos including the captain. That would be really towel.
