Darth Legolas Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 Well I guess we know that the 10212 is an Imperial Shuttle. Think about it: It comes with an Imperial SHUTTLE Pilot, a MINI etc. I hope to see more imformation soon! Agreed, if they would a release a mini that bad (the non-smoothness!) it must just be to promote the big boy. It all adds up! Quote
The Legonater Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 I personally never saw the purpose of the Mini sets. While they were cool to display, they didn't have an abundance of detail and served no purpose other than to collect dust. I think the BM sets should be more promotional and include a figure and a large set. Just my opinion though. The main pyrpose- as I see it- is to create bigger battles with less room. Unfortunatly, not all f these were to scale with each other- witch is one main reason I like the new MIDI-series. Quote
Raphy Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 Here are the minifigures from 10212 Imperial Shuttle! Raphy likey. :D http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=4286175 (Note: Not mine, it's DarthDillers' on brickshelf.) Oh, could some admin edit this and put the picture in the post, please? I tried myself but it didn't work. :/ Quote

I cant wait to see what 10212 is but I think Jar Jar's idea about the mini shuttle being a little taster could be spot on! Edited March 3, 2010 by Roncanator Quote
KimT Posted March 3, 2010 Author Posted March 3, 2010 Apparently he doesn't have Luke's head since he covered that with his light sabre A good interpretation, but I'm not sure the heads are all right, it's hard to see from the pictures in the poster. Quote

Yes I noticed that aswell. I hope they are like the figs included in the set, I really would like those imperial officers. CommanderFox Quote

Raphy likey. :Dhttp://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=4286175 (Note: Not mine, it's DarthDillers' on brickshelf.) Hmm, those don't seem to be the right faces. At least, not the one the officer has. Since the beginning of this year, chin marks are dark flesh. He used parts from his collection, and the shuttle torso is the Imperial Navy trooper's. Looks like Luke is ashamed of his new (slightly smiling) face, so he has hidden it with his saber @Commander Fox: Yes, the officer is included in that set too. ~ General Magma Edited March 3, 2010 by General Magma Quote

Bobskink Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 These watches look so adult. You will probably be the coolest guy at the office if you have them on your wrist. Quote
Ras 74 Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 Those clocks looks kind of cool! Might get that Mandalorian version to my daughter myself Quote
ILikePi Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 (edited) Atamaii has a three minute video of the LEGO Star Wars sets that were displayed at the 2010 New York Toy Fair: Not really anything that we haven't seen before, but there are a few close-ups on some stuff. Enjoy! EDIT: Cool new watches! I think I'll pass on them, but the pictures inside the clock part look great! Edited March 4, 2010 by ILikePi Quote
Stash2Sixx Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Actually, in my office, those watches would be pretty cool! Quote
Enilder Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Was the chrome stormie actually in the box, or was the bag handed to you seperately? from what i know, this is the identical figure to the one in magnet (currently on sale). the only difference is that the bagging and the extra magnet piece you get for the magnet set. i've been told that minifig itself is the same. In the isle with LEGO, I had to turn around to look at the other side with Megablocks and Knex on it, and shoved inbetween were 3 different watches, $14.99 each, or I would have bought a few. Not sure if all 6 will show up, but they had the Stormtrooper, Obiwan, and Han Solo Quote
DarthSion Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 (edited) Hmm intriguing, a Mando watch, would be odd then if they do a Mando watch but not a set with at least one Mando in. Edited March 4, 2010 by DarthSion Quote
Destroydacre Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Hmm intriguing, a Mando watch, would be odd then if they do a Mando watch but not a set with at least one Mando in. It's not a generic Mandalorian watch, it's a Boba Fett watch. And they've done plenty of sets featuring Boba Fett figs... Quote
The Legonater Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Hmm... the watches still continue to keep with the ESB theme. I may get the Fett one if I see it... which I probably won 't Quote
Ras 74 Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 I was the one starting to say Mandalorian. Since there are no colours on it, it can be what you wish it to be. No need to argue about that at all. We can only hope there will be a Mando set next year or so when there has been several episodes involving them. It would make perfect sense to me. I might wanna get one of the Dark Side watches as well. Keep an eye out there Big Cam, and let us know if the other 3 will show up. 14.99 is a good price for those. Wonder what the quality is like. Have anyone bought any of those in the past? Quote

I've had the Darth Vader adult watch since May of last year, when I got one as a gift from my wife at the Lego Store in Downtown Disney, Orlando... They had the Stormtrooper watch there as well (in metal tins, with a little plastic box in it with extra red / black links). I'm not sure if they had the other four there, so they might actually be new. But the Darth Vader watch is right here on my wrist (and yes, I have been wearing it to the office). EDIT: hmmm... on the S@H it really does say it's new. Probably only now available beyond the brick & mortar Lego Stores? Edited March 5, 2010 by Alldarker Quote

Probably only now available beyond the brick & mortar Lego Stores? All except Boba Fett and Han Solo (these are new) have been available from LEGO S@H since January 2009, at least here in Switzerland. The metal tins they come in are quite nice, the watches themselves (I have 'em all) are just larger versions of a LEGO kiddie watch. There are extra links so as to be able to adjust the size of the wrist band, as Alldarker pointed out. Darth Vader's watch comes in a tin with his picture on it, the other three tins are all the same with a picture of a stormtrooper. Don't know about the two new watches. I had first ordered DV and the Stormtrooper one, and as a collector really liked the tins, so I ordered the two others, and was dissapointed that they didn't each have their own picture on the tin. As for the quality, I took the batteries out of three, the fourth has kept time for the past year without having to reset it. The plastic casing seems a little cheap to me, I wouldn't want to wear it while working outside or some such. But this is only my subjective opinion. According to LEGO they are also waterproof to 50m. If anyone gets the Boba Fett or Han solo watches, it would be great to know what the tins look like. Edit: On the back of the watch it says: Japan: Movement China:Assembly Edited March 5, 2010 by gratefulnat Quote
Kaitan Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 As I've mentioned before, I work in a bookshop, and today we got a catalogue in from D.K. Publishing. There was a small picture of the new Star Wars Brickmaster book. It had a picture of what looked like a cut down AT-TE, two clones (clone wars style) and ...KITT FISTO! The cover only said "contains two minifigures" So maybe we get Kitt and a clone, maybe Kitt is a decoy and we only get two clones :)) . It also mentioned the number of pieces, but I can't remember how many it was, maybe 140? I will attempt to borrow the catalogue tomorrow and get a scan so you can see for yourselves. Thought you might be interested! Kaitan Quote
