As I've mentioned before, I work in a bookshop, and today we got a catalogue in from D.K. Publishing. There was a small picture of the new Star Wars Brickmaster book. It had a picture of what looked like a cut down AT-TE, two clones (clone wars style) and ...KITT FISTO! The cover only said "contains two minifigures" So maybe we get Kitt and a clone, maybe Kitt is a decoy and we only get two clones :)) . It also mentioned the number of pieces, but I can't remember how many it was, maybe 140?

I will attempt to borrow the catalogue tomorrow and get a scan so you can see for yourselves.

Just checked Amazon.com, they say 1st. November this year for the Lego Star Wars Brickmaster book. It's the same price as the Pirate and Castle ones, as too for forecomming Altantis book.

Odd, two good guys in the book, wouldn't it be more truthful haveing a Clone trooper and a battle droid or even better a Jedi and a Mandalorian eh ?

Where is that head from? These are the same figs that are on the poster so I'm guessing he just recreated them with his own parts.

Maybe we won't get the cheap chinese plastic issue with this year's magnet vintage. I read somewhere that Lego is going thru an exercise of in-sourcing their production so that most items will be produced in Lego's factory. I hope that's true because that will remove my only hesitation with the magnet sets.

I found the CW magnets (old ones) to be in exceptional quality. Better than some of the packed minifigs.

But anway. Are there any prices for Cad Banes Speeder yet? I am afraid TLC is once again heading for the 37 Euros (Swamp speeder) than 26 Euros (Landspeeder), regardless of the amount of pieces. But for a low price I would really consider this to spice up my MF collections.

The neck printing doesnt matter anymore. It was there to tell the printing machine which side was the front of the torso. I personally would like to see it remain there because there's nostalgia behind the neck print imo.

Oh. I was under the impressian the chinese plastic didn't have it, as shown on your sig. I would like it to remain as well.

I still won't buy magnet sets despite this, mainly because I can't in the first place.

Anyway, I'd rather get the sets and spend more money or miss out on minifigs rather than resorting to magnets.

There not attached, they can be seperated, and I already had all the figs, I just picked it up to have another Ewok and scout trooper.

Doesn't sound too unreasonable, but a rumour's still a rumour. It's like someone saying in a school playground "my uncle's cousin's nephew's sister works at nintendo and said they're going to make a Pokemon game with 3 billion pokemon!"

I wouldn't make too much of it until there is evidence from a more trusted source.

It's a great idea, but without proper moderation - it's a dead stick.

To me it looks more like a Scout trooper and Endor Rebel BP - that would suit the current BP's much better along with the 8038 Endor Base and the other classic sets coming (Hoth related sets released and the AT-AT).

LEGO is bringing back RotS. It's not so unreasonable.

I still don't believe it, however.

I think new BP's will be either OT or CW - the PT is not something the kids nowadays care about.

They want Clone Wars or Original trilogy - the latter because the original story is an evergreen, which the PT isn't.
