DarthSion Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Well sadly it isnt a Mando watch, It is a Boba. http://shop.starwars.com/catalog/product.x...duct_id=1319578 Quote
CommanderFox Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 As I've mentioned before, I work in a bookshop, and today we got a catalogue in from D.K. Publishing. There was a small picture of the new Star Wars Brickmaster book. It had a picture of what looked like a cut down AT-TE, two clones (clone wars style) and ...KITT FISTO! The cover only said "contains two minifigures" So maybe we get Kitt and a clone, maybe Kitt is a decoy and we only get two clones :)) . It also mentioned the number of pieces, but I can't remember how many it was, maybe 140? I will attempt to borrow the catalogue tomorrow and get a scan so you can see for yourselves. Thought you might be interested! Sounds very interisting and exciting! Id love to see this little set. CommanderFox Quote
lightningtiger Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Just checked Amazon.com, they say 1st. November this year for the Lego Star Wars Brickmaster book. It's the same price as the Pirate and Castle ones, as too for forecomming Altantis book. Odd, two good guys in the book, wouldn't it be more truthful haveing a Clone trooper and a battle droid or even better a Jedi and a Mandalorian eh ? I'm a conformist! ! Quote

Mission Commander Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 (edited) Here are the minifigures from 10212 Imperial Shuttle! Raphy likey. :Dhttp://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=4286175 (Note: Not mine, it's DarthDillers' on brickshelf.) Oh, could some admin edit this and put the picture in the post, please? I tried myself but it didn't work. :/ Where is that head from? These are the same figs that are on the poster so I'm guessing he just recreated them with his own parts. EDIT: The smiling head. I dunno which one's the magnet, (Right I think) but neither have the signs of Chinese plastic! (No arm imprint!) Maybe we won't get the cheap chinese plastic issue with this year's magnet vintage. I read somewhere that Lego is going thru an exercise of in-sourcing their production so that most items will be produced in Lego's factory. I hope that's true because that will remove my only hesitation with the magnet sets. Quote
Zzz Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 I found the CW magnets (old ones) to be in exceptional quality. Better than some of the packed minifigs. But anway. Are there any prices for Cad Banes Speeder yet? I am afraid TLC is once again heading for the 37 Euros (Swamp speeder) than 26 Euros (Landspeeder), regardless of the amount of pieces. But for a low price I would really consider this to spice up my MF collections. Quote

RileyC Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 Hmm... we still haven't seen the necks. It's not perfectly determined yet. The neck printing doesnt matter anymore. It was there to tell the printing machine which side was the front of the torso. I personally would like to see it remain there because there's nostalgia behind the neck print imo. Quote

I would like it to remain as well. Edited March 6, 2010 by The Legonater Quote
sok117 Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 I've recently purchased the magnet set and the quality is fine, no one needs to worry about cheap chinese plastic in Star Wars anymore. Quote

I still won't buy magnet sets despite this, mainly because I can't in the first place. Anyway, I'd rather get the sets and spend more money or miss out on minifigs rather than resorting to magnets. Don't understand the "resorting to magnets" rationale. They are regular minifigs attached to a 2x4 magnet brick Quote

I know, what I don't understand is Delta38 resorting to magnets - they are regular figs once removed from the magnet brick Quote

Before you get beat up on, never ever EVER believe what you read on the Lego message boards. It little kids making up what they want. Quote

Doesn't sound too unreasonable, but a rumour's still a rumour. It's like someone saying in a school playground "my uncle's cousin's nephew's sister works at nintendo and said they're going to make a Pokemon game with 3 billion pokemon!" I wouldn't make too much of it until there is evidence from a more trusted source. Quote

Yeah right Who even reads those boards anyways? They've been spammed up by kids and liars for as long as I can remember. It's a great idea, but without proper moderation - it's a dead stick. Plus if someone posted leaked info like that there, then it'd be gone pretty fast. Why would they make a 501st & a Jedi BP? To me it looks more like a Scout trooper and Endor Rebel BP - that would suit the current BP's much better along with the 8038 Endor Base and the other classic sets coming (Hoth related sets released and the AT-AT). Quote
-JD- Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 Why would they make a 501st & a Jedi BP? From when Anakin marched on the Jedi Temple with an elite legion called the 501st in Episode III, perhaps? Maybe you should rewatch the prequel trilogy Kim? Quote
ADHO15 Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 Why would they make a 501st & a Jedi BP? From when Anakin marched on the Jedi Temple with an elite legion called the 501st in Episode III, perhaps? LEGO is bringing back RotS. It's not so unreasonable. I still don't believe it, however. To me it looks more like a Scout trooper and Endor Rebel BP - that would suit the current BP's much better along with the 8038 Endor Base and the other classic sets coming (Hoth related sets released and the AT-AT). It is PT/CW's turn at BPs next year if the current trend is continued. Maybe it's true... I do agree with KimT, despite my arguement. Quote
KimT Posted March 7, 2010 Author Posted March 7, 2010 Maybe you should rewatch the prequel trilogy Kim? As if I've watched it once and that should suffice I think new BP's will be either OT or CW - the PT is not something the kids nowadays care about. They want Clone Wars or Original trilogy - the latter because the original story is an evergreen, which the PT isn't. Quote
