F.Mulder Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 Does anybody know anything about 8134 jedi ambassadorial shuttle its in a blue box on the clone wars brickipedia site Quote
Ras 74 Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 Hi! I was waiting for a moderator to arrive here. Will you please put the Mini Imperial Shuttle in the first post? It's been a week since we've gotten pictures. Thanks! Stop ranting about this now Darth Legolas! We do have things happening in our real lifes that affect that updates can´t happen on a every day basis. If not another Staff have done this by the evening (for me) I will do this. I have been away for 3 days, and is very busy even today. So please be patient, and give us some time. If you do want something added in the first post or so, please send us a PM to let us know if it happend quick enough. This forum is moving really fast, and the forum is huge. It is not circultaing around the SW forum only. We can be missing important posts as well. For PM´s it is KimT and Stash as first choise, but even I am trying to keep a track in here. Darth Legolas, please provide me with the post number were to find the picture you want added, or the link to it, and as I said, I will fix this. Thanks for listening, and thanks for beeing on the target! About the new AT-AT, I would not be surprized if we would get an updated version. I am hoping that your friend/s is so wrong though pugsx3 But I think you do too Quote
Siegfried Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 Sorry. Can the mini Imperial Shuttle pic from Inconspicious or VBBN get in the first post? It is a 2010 set after all: The mini Lambda still needs to be in the first post, too! Hi! I was waiting for a moderator to arrive here. Will you please put the Mini Imperial Shuttle in the first post? It's been a week since we've gotten pictures. Are you trying to be annoying? PM someone next time and then wait patiently. I'll do it now. Quote

pugsx3 Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 (edited) According the new AT-AT:Sorry, pugsx3, but I simply don't believe your friends. You are still aible to buy the motorized version - so which sense should it make to release exactly the same one but with different minifigs?! And the minifigs selection of the new AT-AT gives (at least imo) a hint that we have to await a very small base and/or a cannon included. Plus if TLG does only want to sell the motorized version in regular toy shops they would - if anyway - maximum change the set number. (Apart from that one of my local toy shops indeed has the motorized version on its shelves.) But they wouldn't include different and new minifigs. Of course the new AT-AT will be a redesign - but like all redesigns we have had before it will include something new (or something less) - meaning something new apart from new minifigs. I am only passing on the info I was told I think they are in the loop in the past I purchased almost all displayed sets from the lego store so when i asked if the AT-AT was for sale it surprised me the answer I recieved so I thought i would pass it on I spend $500-$800 a week at my local lego store and have a great relationship with them I would guess the set is the same I find it interesting that the set is on backorder since december and it is more than likely to be in the new box with new # I personally don't like the walking one too much too technic needs more basic lego's I believe if it is does have any newer pieces it would be minor maybe more double cheese slopes or 2x8 flats but really anything less than a true mini fig scale AT-AT is just not very interesting to me At least this is which concerns this year, ILikePi. But firstly many molds used in the Minifigures packs are not new (e. g. the Indians hair, the skateboard, ...). And secondly I would be really surprised if TLG won't use these new molds in sets 2011+. Btw: I totally agree with you that the new smaller lightsaber piece would make a good lightsaber for Yoda - for all the others the regular version is much better. Big Cam Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 I think you typed your response inside of the quote you quoted which is very confusing. You spend $500-800 a week on LEGO?? $3,200 a month, $38,400 a year on LEGO?? I find that really hard to believe. What country are you in? Is your dollar not worth as much as I am invisioning it to. I personally think the information just doesn't make sense, not that you or your source is making it up, it just doesn't make sense with the current one still on sale. If it ends up being a much larger version, that would make sense, but reboxing the same thing with a new number, I don't think so. Quote
FilmGirl27 Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 For those who saw Copmikes review of the spaceman minifigure, Do you think they might be shortening the size of the Lightsaber piece? I hope not, that would be a pain. You know, I was thinking, have TLG been planning this Star Wars revamp for a while now? It seems odd to me that minifigs have suddenly got pupils and more detail, and lightsabers have possibly been updated, just after the 10th anniversery. Either way, I don't like it. Quote

I for one would like to see a new 1 x 3 bar... just not in Star Wars sets. A 3L Bar would prove useful in MOCs. Quote

I would like to ask you if you can tell me if any lego set has 2 different models on the lego shelf with the same name do you think lego would sell 2 different at-ats at the same time me & my lego store friends can't think of any how about you?? Jar Jar Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 Ok, first of all, the old AT-AT will be gone when the new one comes out. Second of all, if a set has the same name, it is a remake. Third of all, we don't need anymore 'my friends told me' junk. LEGO has not ever made the exact same model with different 'figs before and never will. Quote

Not to say I believe pugsx3 but lego has done it in the past, with the new x-wing. Granted the colors were slightly altered and they took away Yoda's hut, It was still essentially the same model with different figs. Quote
Legoman Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 Maybe only Yoda since his lighsaber is shorter than the standard. I can definately see that happening - Good thought! Haven't posted here in a while; But anywho The new BM mini doesn't look amazing to me. Its basicly the same as the original. Beside, I'm quite over min's now. So No intrest in that from me. To be fair, I actully Have no reason not to beleive pugsx3. It Is, IMO, a possibility that it is the same base model as 10178. Obviously, there will be a few small changes, but i think its possible. None of you have any reason to go bad-mouthing him, so I'd appressiate it if you give him a bit of credibility. He may be wrong, yes, but its not any of your places to decide. Personally, I don't mind if its very different or not. It's win win to me, as a new AT-AT would mean a nice update, and the same means its an excuse to get it, and will still look nice together with the other one. Thanks everyone for the info - I look forward to more news Quote
Ras 74 Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 Lets not get stuck into this discussion really about if it can be or not can be a new 10178 we will get but with a new number, and new minifigs. This is the rumor thread. pugsx3 brought us a fact, or a rumor. An interesting question however would be, how did those guys in your store know? Everything else then that has been turned on a few times by now. It can´t be to long until we will see some pics of the new AT-AT now. Quote

I'm quite prepared to believe you, pugsx3, but please punctuate and capitalise, your posts read like bad poetry! Personally, though, I'd have thought it would be sensible for Lego to create a similar AT-AT but with a simpler build and no Power Functions, that would then be more accessible to younger fans. 10178 was a tricky build, even for adults. Still, we'll know for sure soon enough, I hope. Quote

Granted it is similar because you can only do an X wing so many ways. The new AT AT would have to be released with the exact same AT AT just different minifigs which I think would be a huge let down for everyone. Quote

RileyC Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 The promo chrome stormie looks really neat and its great its not on a magnet. I really hope I will have the opportunity to get one but I dont think I will so bricklink here I come! Quote
The Legonater Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 This talk of the AT-AT is ridiculas. Of course they'll release a different one, and even if they don't, what difference does it make? At least those who didn't get the last two have an oppurtunity to get this one. But I doubt LEGO will completely re-release any set. Either way, I haven't seen the old AT-AT in stores for years... The toystore in my city has a few still to sell and they are reluctant to discount it from what the RRP is. Edited March 14, 2010 by Roncanator Quote

Jar Jar Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 Impossible. There was a poster that had all the minifigs for all the exclusive sets and it didn't have any Jedi Ambassadorial Shuttle. Although, if this could be true, I hope it is not CW - too bad it's more likely. Quote

The jedi ambassadorial shuttle was made for the clone wars TV show, so it is without a doubt a clone wars set, If it was being made, which it's not. Quote
RileyC Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 Its brickipedia. Because anyone can edit it, anyone does and some people make up false rumors that they wish were true. Quote
