Please check the forum "Future Star Wars Sets"...I posted on what I think LEGO should do with some sets from the clone wars and a remake on a set that last came out around 2005 I think. Please excuse my spelling on the topic though, I'm not sure how to spell a lot of the star wars ships and minifigs lol

umm, also, please feel free to comment on it...I would like to see what everyone thinks about the sets

The summer line up of star wars looks good. The only one I think I will get is the wampa cave. I think the wampa looks like a cute fluffy dog standing up. I wont get any of the other sets since i just want the figures. Does anyone know or think that Lego will release any of the figures from the summer line up into magnets?

Sure they will. But next year. And who knows which ones they gonna chose..

I'll probably get them all, eventually. I'm a sucker for sales and clearance. I even bought the Rogue Shadow after I proclaimed I wouldn't.

Depending on the selection, I might purchase magnet sets - especially if it's that new Boba Fett!

Nice find . No confidential marker, and these look pretty final, going by Grievous' cockpit.

I much prefer these boxes to the awful white ones from last year.

All in all, a disapointing year for LEGO Star Wars, IMO. I don't really like the wampa, so no Wampa Attack for me. I already have Plo Koon, the new Greivous is really megablocky, I like the figures in Palpatines Shuttle but the model not so much, and the Turbo Tank is too big for me.

On a more optimistic side, I LOVE Slave 1!! Brill figures and lovely ship. Also, I'll get Cad Banes Speeder.

I like the figures in Palpatines Shuttle but the model not so much, and the Turbo Tank is too big for me.

Agreed. I was very excited about the shuttle too, at first. But it doesn't look so great after all. And since there will probably also be an (actual) Imperial Shuttle coming up, I'll just buy that one. That ship looks cooler anyway so...

And I also find the size of the CTT a big issue, which so far is making me doubt whether I should buy it

I can't wait till they finally arrive in stores (though my wallet can )

It is a bit disappointing that there's no tactical droid on the CTT box art. It looks like Ahsoka was moved forward a bit to fill up the empty space (compare the newer box art pic with FBTB's photo).

I do agree with that - those were probably the worst logos in all of LEGO Star Wars! I love how this one has Captain Rex with lightning in the background. Edited March 21, 2010 by ILikePi

Perhaps Lego could have been a bit more adentureous, the CTT and Slave 1 are the nest versions yet, but no you can't get too excited over 'tweaks'

For the Slave 1 and the Hoth Wampa Cave there is nothing really new:

The Hoth Wampa Cave is (apart from that we don't get a different pilot) .

The Slave 1 is average - there are many details and it seems even to be bigger than the previous version - but I personally don't need that high detailed vehicles. That does only heighten the price immensly and there is not necessarily more playability.

I really hope that we'll get a decent, big Cloud City (in about a size a bit smaller than the DS) in order to be aible to combine the Slave 1 with it since the Slave 1 only on its own doesn't offer much playbility and key functions for replaying the movie.

Nevertheless the new Boba looks great, Bossk, too, and the carbonite block is done very realisticly, too.

Btw: It's really a pity that we still have no pics of the AT-AT. I hope that the Easter bunny will bring us some/one.

Thanx 4 the pix! The lack of a tactical droid does not surprise me, but it's still too bad. Oh well, at least we know Lego is considering to make one, so there's a chance we might see it in future sets.

A prototype is bound to have been made and maybe even the final mold if the fig was only dropped from the set last minute.

I would have to agree that we should get this fig in another set. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

Great pictures! Its nice to have confirmation about the tactical droid, even though it's not in the set. Im loving the box art. Rex just looks so cool and I hope they reuse this one next year. Im looking forward to picking up all of those in a few months.

I would have loved to see a new minifigure tactical droid, but maybe the prototype wasnt good enough (no approval by George Lucas) and they have to make a new (better) design.

In that case no problemo.

Curious to see how many of you who own the Slave1 (IG-88 & Dengar) will still go ahead and grab this one too?

I'm struggling a little bit with this decision. I fear I'd be spending all that money just for Bossk, and there's just so much more out there to spend money on in other lines. Anyone else having similar second thoughts?
