Just noticed that Bane is using regular blisters, in CW he uses his own long and slim blaster pistols, I guess Lego didn't want to make another kind of blaster piece for just one character, eh ?

I just realised the sheer awesomeness of Cad Bane. His hat is so being sig figed. So many possibilites for that gas mask. I might just have had my interest in these sets revived.

I am disappointed, 2 senate guards, they should have had Sing and one guard, and even more disappointed it doesn't have the "trailer" with Ziro the Hutt.

Aurra Sing really would have made this set for me, as it is I don't think I'll bother. Although the senate clones are pretty cool.

I also think it's safe to assume we'll be seeing Aurra in some other set later down the line.. Honestly surprised they didn't do a CW Slave 1 with her, Ahsoka and the young Boba Fett instead of the Empire version.

The image window that Target uses blocks us from saving the image, or seeing all of it at the same time. Thus, it requires screen shots and delicate stitching together to get a full image. Grogall and DA both did the same thing, although Grogall zoomed in more.

Actually, I noticed that using firebug (free plugin for webdeveloper on firefox) you can find the source code of the hi res image and just save it. The image is still divided in different pieaces of 400x400 so some stitching is still required, but at least now everything snaps in place quickly. No more hassle to fit every screenshots together and realise you missed a little square :p

Took me 5 min to do this one. I was about to proudly post it when I found out it'd already been done...

At least I can still give my discovery to make things easier in the future...

Yeah i said that not that long ago, but I want Sing Bossk Boba ah they guy who did the voice of captain slag from ratchet and clank tools of destruction, and i think a couple of kid clones would be cool with slave one, or maybe even Mace thrown in with R2.

As they were the final episodes, and as Banes speeder was the final of season 1, perhaps a CW slave one will be in 2011, or a surprise set for this year, I mean lego seem to be wanting to redo everything in CW, so what better to do that CW slave one, well maybe other than something with Trech? you know that Spider CIS leader.

Yey! I like this! Really nice speeder, great selection of minifigs what with Cad, Shahan, Guard and Captain. These last 2 will make the set worth multiples I reckon. I too would've liked Aurra but hey... guess we can't have the moon on a stick (that's no moon). Not only that another original release LEGO, got me smilin'!

At a guess I'd say this one will come in at £29.99 in the UK. We'll see though. I think LEGO and I have a deal on this one.

I hate Bane's grin in the Turbo Tank. He looks way better serious IMO.

Yeah, but that was a completely new head. That expression was just a bonus added to main one with the goggles on. I bet they figured "Hey, if we're already gonna make a new print, why not give it a different expression?". Y' know what I mean?

Some things are better left without CW, it's even getting into Dobby. If I chose 3 sets to CW-ify, they'd be:

1. Lightsaber Duel(I think this was what it was, it was the Mustafar set)- It could be greatly improved, Anakin DV's large eyes would be easy to make yellow , we could get a better Gunray, maybe some droids, but best of all no LuLs!

2. Watto's shop/Mos Espa Pod Race- Either way, we could get a better Watto, with printing, better color and clips for wings, improved/not-yet-made racers, and of course Qui-Gon(Though I'm sure because they're Lego they would replace him in the final set with Heesa-Whoosa-Shall-Not-Be-Nameda.

3. Luke's home- Aunt Beru and Uncle Owen(who's already awesome, but needs to be easier to get) would be nice, maybe the garage-like area could have a droid bath lever, maybe that Minifigs statue in trans light blue as Leia? <--I know it'll never happen.

You could even have Padme's ship as an add on to the set but being its own set

The speeder isn't the best IMO, though it is an easier way to get the guards. One thing they could of done to make it better would have been to at least have the landing area. I bet someone could create this with only other CW sets.

What does Cad do at night if he's fired his headlights?

I'm sure AFOL's will look beyond what some call a poor speeder design and buy the set for the figures.

By the way, did anyone notice that the newer editions of the SW visual dictionary come with Luke with his new head (featured in the Wampa Cave, AT-AT and Landspeeder)?

I just bought mine yesterday and it came with Luke's new face. There was a barely noticable cut on his eye. I can post pictures if anyone wants them.
