Aethersprite Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Hey guys. About Cad Bane's speeder - I know it's canon, but I can't seem to find a Wiki entry on it. Is there one? Thanks. Quote

When i brought my 8017 the sticker was missing and i too email TLG and also no reply but 3 weeks later i received a mail from TLG with the sticker and a letter. Quote
Penitent Tangent Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 I called Lego today if they were releasing either Bane or Aayla to magnets. From their word he said no because they are exclusive figs to their sets. Good thing i got my turbo tank. for a while i was banking on TLG to release aayla, bane, and a senate commando/captain. This is the same type of message any manufacturer will give you.. they aren't going to tell you "don't bother buying a Turbo Tank, etc, for Christmas, because you can just wait and get the magnets". They want you to buy the expensive sets before announcing cheaper alternatives. Whoever's operating the phones also isn't going to be aware of plans to release new sets. But I'd be willing to bet we see Bane and Aayla in magnet sets by next year Quote

But I'd be willing to bet we see Bane and Aayla in magnet sets by next year That's true. But I really don't like the magnets as it's easy for people that don't want to buy a larger set to get good figures. I think you should just get the set. Quote

Typical LEGO Customer Service. I would wait at least a month before contacting them again. That how long it took the last time I ordered replacement parts. Quote
DarthSion Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Perhaps I missed it, but what happened to this, the link on the first page takes you to the other page, and I can't find it anywhere on the net. Lego Brickmaster: Star Wars (Hardcover) Hardcover: 48 pages Publisher: DK Publishing (Dorling Kindersley) (Nov 2010) Language English ISBN-10: 0756663113 ISBN-13: 978-0756663117 Quote
KimT Posted November 5, 2010 Author Posted November 5, 2010 It was a mistake on amazon. They put the LEGO Star Wars Brickmaster book up twice. Just click the link for the book underneath it and you'll get what you're looking for. They only released one book and the first one isn't it Quote
DarthSion Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Ok thanks, damn I wanted a mini drop ship and OT walker. Quote

DarthSion Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Sheesh, 147 bucks on bricklink, I think I paid that on a discounted the full size dropship and OT. Quote
CMP Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Sheesh, 147 bucks on bricklink, I think I paid that on a discounted the full size dropship and OT. It's the packaging, if you really want one, find instructions and buy the individual pieces, I'm sure it won't amount to too much. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Sheesh, 147 bucks on bricklink, I think I paid that on a discounted the full size dropship and OT. I know, just pointing out that it exists. You could just get the instructions and BL the parts. Quote
Zzz Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Was C-3PO planned to have a printing on the head too? I saw an advert of the new AT-AT and it seems that he has photoshopped printed eyes. Was it discussed / mentioned already? Quote

I managed to find it. I think it is just a reflection or something because the picture of the minifigure in the little circle thing has normal eyes. Quote

Zzz Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 I believe we came across that before, and it was just a reflection. OK - thanks a lot. After taking a closer look at the high-res pic on s@h I have to agree (before I saw it only in the catalogue). Hell of a technic tp make that shot, though. He looks really much better than in reality. Sorry for the disturbance everyone! Quote
