Its still a 6th MF, its enough they need new stuff not rehashing like EA does.

Plus the bag charm.

Not that it matters at all to the discussion at hand.

If they do make a third falcon, I think it would be pretty neat to have it be based on the DS II assault in ROTJ. It could have Lando and Nien Numb with a few other rebel pilots. I think it would fit in with the trend. The first falcon was base on A New Hope and the second on Empire Strikes Back. Just a thought anyway.

I think that having it based on the DS II assault is an awesome idea. The set would have great potential for minifigs but I dont think the whole millennium falcon would be necessary. I think if lego made a detail cockpit with like a path for it to go through and use the mechanism that they used for ackbar's chair in the home one then I would by it.

Great idea

Agreat new thread to dedicate to 2010 sets.

Great job Kim as always

The rumor lists looks really good to me.

I think the sets mentioned by many (like the CTT, ARC) will be CW II based.

They did remakes of AT-TE and RGS, so why not.

TLC did really great on those once in my opinon.

GG Starship was good one for a first edition, can be improved abit more.

I will not complai on anything until I see pictures... or if even so then.

So many times people is nagging there a$$es off at first, and when the ses hit the shelfs,

there use to be other sounds in the barrel.

I welcome any sets, as long as there is new once as well, and not only remakes.

Very often the remakes has improved alot.

If we will get the new molded jetpack to Boba, TLC would be stupid not to make a Jango in a near future.

We have gone back and forth with Ep. I, II, and III sets. Could well go back again to make sets from those Eps.

I wished the new Slave one would have been UCS but minifig scaled, ala 10179... So it would match in scale this magnificent set. Slave 1 is shorter than the MF, and it could have been a decent 3000 pcs set. since 2010 in ESB 40 anniversary (and an equaly scaled Tydirium in 2013 would also be great). But if set number realy is 8097, no chance :cry_sad:

30th! Come on, how old do you think George Lucas is?

I'm checking my computer more than often lately because I'm nervous I'm going to miss pics. :classic:

I'm such a dork, but aren't we all?

Hopefully Slave I will get a larger set treatment, instead of $50 as in the past. I a set with a $100 tag could do it justice.

Well, I'm all with you on checking for pictures every five minutes, but I'm up in arms about the whole "Woohoo let's raise the price!"

Possibly the new Slave I will have a real cockpit this time, and either the new kind of blunt missile or a completely new feature on the inside of the ship. Maybe even an actually place for the other minifigs! No doubt flick-fires will be wherever they can, especially on the wings, but that's no big deal. Of course, I already have a carbonite-frozen Han Solo, but we should be getting another one. Of course, I'd count that as a minifig! Maybe this is Pre-End of Episode VI Slave I.

I personally won't buy the set unless its something miraculously amazing, but I think since the past few versions were smaller, so I'm interested to see how Lego would handle the ship on a larger scale. They would be able to do this with a larger price tag, a slot that would inevitably be filled by another set.

As for the Palpatine shuttle, I'm hoping that it is an Episode III set as well, even if its the only one of the wave that is PT and not Clone Wars. The scene at the end of ROTS is awesome, and hopefully Lego would give us a new Palpatine and a few Shock and Senate Troopers.

Come on pictures, we've been waiting long enough! I know that they are out there somewhere, its just some one with access to them needs to be nice enough to post them.

That would be a cool gimmick. If it had a base area of 2x4 it could fit the figure, and look more movie accurate in size. The 1x2 brick just seemed too narrow and thin .

Well a certain (I) cannot wait that long. I'm building a carbonite-freezing chamber right now!

I'm still wondering though, maybe this Slave I will have somewhat a bit of interior, just so we can shove some minifigs in!

It would have to be UCS to have a satisfying sized (Not meaning huge) interior, I think.

I would just fall out of this chair if Han came in a 1x4 block that could fit him to accurate shape with a backing to the block to cover up Han. That would make me really happy.

Hey guys, it's rockinkurt, the one who told you guys of the minifigs for the slave 1.

I now can tell you that palpatine's shuttle, ARC, GG's starfighter, clone turbo tank, and maybe <wink> plo's startfighter are all Episode 3.

I watched a SW Lego video on cartoon network tonight The Quest for R2-D2 and I was shocked when they showed a Lego model of the Malevolence Grievous’s flagship I would like to make this a rumor. Right before they showed it Yoda used the force and assembled a RBR I was shocked it's not even released yet. Clone Anakin ran by the Vader tie and when they showed him his shadow was Vader. The separatists had the AT-AT. The clones were on tauntauns and so much more.. I just left Disney this morning and after going on the Star Tours ride three times I said GL should create a SW theme park.. what do you know at the end of the short Lego film there was Skywalker Park it was crazy here is the picture of the Malevolence right off of my tv.

Thanks for the news rockinkurt13 and for the rumor Joshua Hetzler  . If the Palpatine Shuttle is Episode 3 and most of this sets are Episode 3 oriented they will be MUST buys for me. Also that Malevolance looks actually really like an actual set maybe a new midi-scale Malevolance is coming our way  .

In the Quest for R2-D2 video, did anyone else notice the printed General Grievous? That might be what we're getting with the rumored General Grievous Starfighter set. :oh:

Note the ball joints for the arms and how they can move. I really hope that we can get one of those - that would be great!

Thanks rockinkurt13 :cry_happy: thats some very nice imformation!!

keep leaking imformation to us

Joshua Hetzler nice pic of the malevolence in Lego form, maybe that might be a suprise set for next year. If it is then Id think it would be around the same size as the RBR or around that size.

ILikePi nice pics of Grievous, hopefully he will have printed parts, I really want him because I missed out on the first one so him with printed parts sounds very nice!!

Grievous: I sure hope we'll get a new General Grievous. Getting him with ball-joints will be awesome. It would also be great if the arms were split in two with a rubber connection a lá the rubber used in the last Exo-Force wave. - Though I doubt we'll get such an elaborate minifig ever.

Malevolence: Getting that ship would be awesome. It just looks like it's almost the same size as the Venator and isn't that a little too large for a set with Grievous?

Hi guys , i was watching the video " the quest for r2d2 " on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7iqzoZ6_xxQ , and i'm not sure , but i think that at the beginnig we can see the new arc 170 strafigther and more in particular at 2:54 , because the reactors are not similar in the first edition of this set. What do you think about it ?

( sorry for my english , i'm french... :sceptic: )

I mentioned that in the thread about the film here. I think it is the same ship as the current one. It really doesn't look too different to me. Only the front of the engines are different as the nose no longer has a gap in the front.

If we get that Grievous then this will be a must buy for me. The black elbow joints seem to be a little out of place to me seeing as the black and tan dont really mix that well. Its good to see that lego is bringing back the episode III sets for us and most of them arent remakes which is nice. Thanks rockinkurt13 and Pi for the info and pictures :sweet:

Thank you rockinkurt13, so arc starfighter is also from episode 3 that´s mean we don´t get three phase I clone pilot?? :sceptic:
