Thank you very much for these links to the pics, ForceMaster! :classic:

The new AT-AT Driver looks great!

If TLG does in the final version of the Snowtroopers BP again take the regular common Imperial Officer suit and pass it of as an Imperial Commander I'll be getting really angry!

For what do we need a new styled helmet for the AT-AT Driver (the old one was really ok) but we do not get a single new officer torso?!

The pictures are really good. Where did you find them?

Can't wait to buy a couple of those battlepacks.

The new helmet looks good but as said above the proportions are all wrong.

Thanks for the pics ForceMaster.

I really hope that the AT-AT helmet we just saw is some whatever prelim.

It is just hidious in my opinon. Big and clumpsy, and looks worse then if my daughter would paint it.

Thanks for the pics. Lego said they needed to cut back on new moulds. The Hoth Trooper's were not needed and this is even worse. It's way to big and looks awful. I hope they replace the light gray helemt wth a dark gray one. The opposite colors on the AT-ST driver look good but this, no. He looks like a dofus!

Ras, I think it's not prelim helmet... You don't like him?)
No I don´t.

What if all helmets will be this supersized once from now on. Would you guys really like that?

Hope this is not how it will look at all :(

If Lego changed it back to dark bley I'd appreciate it. But hell, that new helmet is making me spazz out for the AT-AT driver! I didn't even care but I love that new mold! It looks kind of stupid, but I really love it!

I also owe some people an apology, judging by this final picture, the Tri-Fighter looks pretty good! Still not much difference, but I love the use of the Rogue Shadow cockpit as the new spheres.

Oh, and new plan everyone! Whenever someone starts talking about Garinan again, just ignore them! The argument is severely pointless until we get a better picture! The way I hate the Tri-Fighter. With a better picture, I liek it now! Still won't get it, but I'm nto screaming about any new minifigs!

Thanks for you pics, Forcemaster! If only the convention had the landspeeder set so this topic could have half as many posts!

EDIT: Huge realization everyone! That AT-AT pilot helmet is the same new pilot helmet in the TIE Defender!

I wonder if it is just a preliminary photo and that's the design for the new helmet but the proportions were just for the artist. I can only pray. It wouldn't make any sense otheriwse. 10 years with the same helemet size then a random change.

Actually, if you look at a picture of any Imp pilot, they have hugely oversized helmets. Once again, it may look weird here but it's just perfect for the new TIE Defender pilot.

Calm down, guys, I'm pretty sure that the helmet is a prototype. All the new prints and molds at that convention were decals and prototypes. It will probably be smaller and better printed in the final product. I like how it looks, and it will probably make for a great TIE Defender pilot helmet as well. But even though it also looks like the Phase 2 clone pilot helmet, I don't think it is the kind of helmet used in the ARC-170 because those seem to have open faces (as they should).

I don't understand. Compare these two:

Aside from the blurriness and the cheap plastic, the new helmet is IDENTICAL two the real one. It's perfect! It even has the red spot in the mouth and two the left of the black thingie! Even the blue and red spots at the bottom! It's perfect!

I think the helmet seems a bit oversized but if you see videos of prelim molds they are always somewhat oversized. For example this videoshows the process they made Admiral Ackbar's head. I personally love that the new helmet is more detailed.

I know that. That's why I like it so much. :classic: Others however argue that the helmet looks too big in proportion to the rest of the fig, and I am saying that that is probably due to it being a prototype. Or maybe it's just the angle of the photo. When you look down on a current stormie fig, its helmet looks a bit big as well.

Either way, I'm sure it'll look awesome in the end.

Although the helmet looks large, I think it's just the camera angle. Every minifig shot I've seen from this show has been from the same angle, and each one looks oversized. If you look at the size of the head inside the helmet (On figs like the new Space Police one) you'll see that the head looks large too.

I doubt this'll be any bigger than the stormtrooper helmet we have now...

Don't worry Ras, the AT-AT driver's helmet is larger than an average Storm Trooper's, so they should remain unchanged.

This year looks like it will be great for new pieces, recolors, and some great set remakes. I personally love the Tri-Fighter :cry_happy: .

The Tri-Fighter and Snowtroopers Battle Pack are looking great!

I'm not too fond on the size of the AT-AT pilot's helmet, but it looks really detailed.

However, based on ForceMaster's picture, I like the old helmet more. The old helmet was the main reason why I liked the LEGO version of the AT-AT pilot so much...

Meh, the new helmet is pretty average. Sure it does have a lot of detailing but it does look a bit too big. I think I'll wait until we have pictures of the final solution to form my opinion

I'm really hoping LEGO do not make all the helmets identical, or any pieces more realistic than they are. I am happy with just this one, but it won't feel right if they are exactly the same as the movies. :sceptic:
