Pellaeon Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 (edited) http://legostarwars.wikia.com/wiki/7090_Naboo_Royal_StarshipI found this on Lego Star Wars Wiki. I do not recall Lego ever selling one. Is this supposed to be for 2010? If you look at that page's history, you'll see it the page hasn't been touched since 2008. Unless "Unregistered contributor 75.138.168.85" was a Jedi foreseeing sets 3+ years before they're announced, I'm pretty sure it's fake. Edit: Google reveals it's a MOC: http://www.fbtbforums.net/viewtopic.php?t=1304 Edited October 19, 2009 by Pellaeon Quote

Guys, you should keep this in mind: Wikis are very unreliable, especially ones about LEGO - it is, after all, a kid's toy, so there will be many kids editing and making posts on the Wikis. Anyone can edit them, so that means that they can post whatever they want. And I will say this one more time (and will not post it again ): The Brickmaster sets will have either a clone trooper and a battle droid or a Rebel trooper and a stormtrooper. If you look at the other Brickmaster books, it's pretty obvious to tell what minifigures are in this one. Pellaeon: I remember that MOC! The guy spent hundreds of USD to chrome the pieces. The Castle Brickmaster book had a knight, or whatever you call him, and he is a basic fig in that theme. So you are right saying we will probebly get some PT or OT stormies-rebels-clones or droids. CloneCommanderDelta7 Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 ...stormies-rebels-clones or droids. Yes, that sounds right! Although I bet we'll see ... Anakin Skywalker, CLONE WARS STYLE! (I don't like the idea but I'm guessing) Quote
-JD- Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 I think this new book will be nice to get ideas from when people review it, but not to buy. IMO, all the books are overpriced and the figure selection is poor. Quote
starwarsfanatic Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 I remember seeing that pic on Google Images way back. The site it was "on" had no picture of it and I didn't know what it was about. Quote
Darth Legolas Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 Yes, that sounds right!Although I bet we'll see ... Anakin Skywalker, CLONE WARS STYLE! (I don't like the idea but I'm guessing) We already have Anakin Skywalker in CW... About 3 times also. Maybe even 4. For the people going nuts about the Naboo Cruiser, I'll tell you, I saw that same picture on a 2009 rumor list 2 years ago. End of discussion. l Quote
Pie108 Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 (edited) Isn't it about time we get some real pictures of sets like the freeco speeder, reble battle pack and the TIE? We also need a picture of those new clone pilots. Does anyone know if the orange is printed or not. Please don't go on some rampage because you wrote it 6 pages back! OFF TOPIC Wow, the last person posted yesterday. Normally this topic is busy all day every day. Edited October 20, 2009 by Pie108 Quote
Nightshroud99 Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Cool, I wonder what the Star Wars set will be like? Quote
Sajer Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Having a droid brickmaster would be kinda weird, after all, a droid can't do much. I'm vainly hoping that it may be an ewok/scout trooper theme instead of a boring old usual storm vs rebel. (At least endor themed or something, which has a lot of possibilities.) Quote

Well, I don't know what droid you're referring to, but OT or not, every droid can do a lot more than what you're thinking of. Second off, that's a really random thought. I don't think anyone's brought up Endor, and truly we don't even know if it's OT or CW yet, so don't get any ideas. Quote
Pie108 Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 I don't know what you are reffering to either. And by droid do you mean a LEGO battle droid? Quote
Commander Assassin Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 (edited) I am sorry if this has been commented on before, (as I know we discussed the set a few pages back) but I was thinking that the "super secret brickmaster set" might be the mini scaled Malevolence. It makes sense since we have seen the instructions and I at least don't know of any release. Then again, it would make even more sense if someone has already posted this prediction a few pages back. See, now there's an idea. Now that you got my hopes up, your prediction better be right! Though it is a combo, and it would be HUGE for a brickmaster set. That'd be like them handing out $20-30 to everyone! Another thought: Since brickmaster is for all of the well deserving non-mirror getting and well paying US citizens, it could be a combo of the three minis you guys looted for free! I really do hope it's Star Wars though. Quote

Inconspicuous Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 Is this mini Malevolence theory about the Brickmaster subscription with magazines or the mini book like the Pirate and Castle ones? -If it's about the subscription, I don't think that would be reasonable, as it is rumored the "Top Secret Exclusive" is from Atlantis -If it's about the mini books, I still don't think it's likely for two reasons: one, it's WAY to big for a little $20 set. Two, it's been confirmed that the Malevolence was supposed to be built out of recent Star Wars sets. I hope that I'm not an idiot babbling about something I don't even get, but hopefully I can get some clarification. Quote

If you play the LEGO Star Wars: The Quest for R2-D2 game (which is, unfortunately, very boring and repetitive), you get instructions to build a mini Malevolence. You can read the topic about the game and get links to the instructions here. Inconspicuous Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 I understand that much, but I'm wondering why people are talking about a Mini-Malevolence appearing in a Brickmaster set. It seems like maybe other people need that more than me. Quote

Well, we are all speculating what the brickmaster set contains and also discussing whether its OT or CW and if so, what. Regarding the droids (B1 or B2s) , its just that they are not as posable as the normal minifigs due to legs being joined together. Its kinda stiff looking, difficult to display motion. Woah. and mini malevolence does sound really huge for the brickmaster set, but at least it would have a good story. Quote
Navy Trooper Fenson Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 It isn't that bad a game, but yes it is alittle repetitive. It´s Dr. Jekyl & Mr. Hyde level bad, because I can´t even move the figures. XD Regarding the droids (B1 or B2s) , its just that they are not as posable as the normal minifigs due to legs being joined together. Its kinda stiff looking, difficult to display motion. Works great for Castle Brickmaster Book including a skeleton. Well, we are all speculating what the brickmaster set contains and also discussing whether its OT or CW and if so, what. I guess the book will be TCW themed because it is more popular, also it is a little bit cheaper with only one real figure and a fake figure (battledroid). I hope we get a Mandalorian set. Random set wish here, but it seems possible. LEGO has already a jetpack mold, only thing missing is a mandalorian helmet, but this could be used for a TCW Mando set and the romured Slave One. @ rumors: I would expect a Cad Bane figure from LEGO next year. He becomes a minor figure in the show and is one of the most popular villians. Also he would be easy to produce without necessary new molds. Quote

Cad Bane becomes a major part in the series. And LEGO could just use the Indiana Jones hat for him. 2. LEGO has a mandalorian helmet. What do you think they used for Boba and Jango? Cone trooper helmets? Quote
Future74 Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 Can we please stay on topic... I'm keeping my eyes on this topic to get new information, or to see discussions related to it - not to read about movable droid legs, what sets we love to get or if the R2D2 game is good/bad. These have separate topics or should get them. Sorry, I dont have much time lately and if I do, these just fill a lot of pages which I rather dont want to read. Thanks in advance. Quote
