New battlepacks look great! Anyone notice that the rebel Hoth trooper in the top right corner of the box has a face cover?

The new helmets have two sets of dimples where you can vary adding face accessories

Anybody know what that greens ymbol, drawing is on the side of the box?

One more thing I noticed, the rebels have dark legs on the battle scene on the box, but white legs on the lower left image on the box.

BTW, the speeder or cannon, whatever it is, that comes with the rebbel battle pack must be the ugliest one so far we had with a battle bad, but like a certain person said before, who cares.

The green symbol you speak of is an advert for the Lego Club.

As I said before my guess is that this new face will be used in many more sets. The ARC, Wampa Cave and Rebell Battlpack.

I meant the rebel Hoth trooper in the top right. Not the rebel pilot. It looks like a new head accessory.

Thanks to all for the precious informations ! 2010 is going to be a big-buying-year for me I think, better hide it all from my wife . The Hoth rebels looks really good, and we finally have an Imperial officer in armor !!!

@Ras 74 : How lucky KimT and you are to have seen all of these sets ! Can you recall if there is a snowspeeder included in the wampa set ? And which set Cad Bane is in ?

I'm bit disappointed to these new sets no Cad Bane or Padmé not new jedifigs and of course that talz had to be that chief now it cannot be used in cantina without removing that damned hat but thanks for the pics Freeco speeder and arc are nice but probably i am not going to buy another arc -even though i don't have Kit Fisto- i am looking forward to rumoured Grievous fighter and Palpatine's shuttle sets- those two minifigs i want to have- i hope they will do a better Grievous fig this time

KimT did imply that we would be getting a Cad Bane, but no Padmé.

If the head accessory is removable, it may be possible to reuse it.

I can't believe it took this long to get visors on the rebel pilots. I remember using one of my exo-force heads with the trans orange visor printed over their eyes on a rebel fig, looked great despite the anime styled face. These are really nice looking battle packs, can't wait to get a few of each

No recall what so ever. You got like a few secs to try to get as much in as possible. Probably some "nice-to-know-fact" gone missing there.

It is a really exiting and promissing year we have ahead of us. Januari will come quickly, but then the wait is long to August.

TLC is really trowing goodies at us right now in my opinon. I sometimes feel like a "real" child and remember the old days

These pictures are a lot better than the last ones. The Rebel vehicle doesn't look that great but I don't reall mind.

So, it looks like the mold wasn't wasted after all...

Samey mini-figs tend to ruin sets, or at least make them much less appealing to many. Look at the AT-OT set, I think it's fantastic but 8 clones..? It's not like people are going to buy these sets as army builders and even just one Jedi mini-fig would have made it much better, in my opinion. And it's the same here, without the Kit Fisto, I'd be much more hesitant to buy it. (even if these new pilots are very cool).

I agree, people aren't going to get these things as army buildiers. But while it doesn't matter if a battle pack has 1 more or less figure, in this case it means an incomplete crew. There's no reason they had to put in Kit Fisto at the expense of a 3rd Clone Pilot. As each ship can seat 3 but only comes with 2, I'll have to get 2 of the ARCs just to have a complete 'stock' crew. And unlike the understocked AT-OT/AT-TE etc sets, you can't just buy battlepacks to fill them up as these pilots aren't in any other set.

Plus, I already have Kit Fisto (which itself was thrown in as a bonus to the Jedi Starfighter, just like how it should have been here - a bonus figure that doesn't have to come at the cost of 1 less stock figure)

What's so special about 2011 that KimT and you tease us with ??? You can't have seen prelim pics of set, it's far too early IMHO. But you have seen something for sure. Some set names ? Can we have a hint ?

The vehicle isn't as great as I hoped, but I'll still be getting it because battle packs are all about the minifigs.

Probably there is gonna be some really HUGE set, should the license actually end. But lets not hope so.

I am only making a wild guess, but I would say that much-disputed Rebel soldier in the top right has nothing special about him, just his snow goggles in "down" position which, because of the blurry picture and the angle, seem to "merge" with the part of the backpack around his neck.

The face of the one on the vehicle looks a bit weird though.

We saw preliminary mould pictures of him a while back. He's the new AT-AT pilot.

Isn't he supposed to be the unofficial Bren Derlin or 'Rebel Commander'? The one with a moustache.

I don't know if anybody noticed but the Imperial Commander (General Veers ?) has a new torso print - it's not the regular Imperial Officer print. It looks like the armour he wears on Hoth.

I think he's supposed to be a generic commander, being in a battlepack.

He's wearing armour like he should have been in the AT-AT.
