CommanderFox Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 A Bothan? You are kidding, right? Yes of Course!! Why would Bane be in GG's fighter? Seems kinda odd to me..then again I haven't seen any season 2 episodes yet so I might be missing a scene where he and GG are together at the fighter but I doubt it. CommanderFox Quote
sok117 Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 Yeah your right it would be weired if he was in General Grevious' starfighter, i have been up-to-date with all things clone wars and i dont think that Grevious and Bane have ever been in the same room together. So if there is a Cad Bane figure coming out soon I think it will be in an exclusive set. Quote

But I hope Mr Bane is not in one of those pricey TRU sets, Home One is 200 dollars here in the land of Oz and they are not selling ! Also in the few episodes I've watched thanks to Youtube, Bane yes, but no Grevious ! Maybe they'll cross paths later in the series. Quote

We seen it before that logic is a not a big requirement in deciding minifigs complement for a set. Just look at Obi-wan's Jedi Starfighter with the Hyperdrive Ring. Not sure about the logic of KF being in that set. I'll just be glad to get a Cad Bane. Which set he comes in isn't that important to me. Quote
sok117 Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 That is very true Fumoffu another example would be Plo Koon in the RGS though he didn't make an apperance in the scene depicted on the box from the movie he was in the movie (for about three seconds) so I think if lego really wanted to get a Cad Bane minifigure out there they could put it in any set really. CommanderFox Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 I'll just be glad to get a Cad Bane. Which set he comes in isn't that important to me. Well I just hope whatever set he comes in (if he is in any) That it won't be in a set around the size of this years 10195...that would damage my wallet. Ras said that we would be seeing pics in a few days...well where are they? Can't wait to see them!! CommanderFox Quote
sok117 Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 I know eh. Ras said we would see them a in a few days, a few days ago. The more I wait the more excited I get, this is almost like the time those Indiana Jones pictured surfaced for the first time. Quote

Why do you need someone to tell you what's in them? Edited November 25, 2009 by Roncanator Quote
Cloney Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Any news on Lukes Landspeeder? It hasn't been mentioned in quite a while. Quote
Oky Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 (edited) If it hasn't been mentioned, then that means there is no news, don't you think? I thought you had already seen most of the sets anyway? Why do you need someone to tell you what's in them? I think he wants to see pictures because he only get a short glimpse at some prelim boxes/prototypes, and it's always better to have pics on your computer which you can drool over and analyze for hours. Corvus Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Any news on Lukes Landspeeder? It hasn't been mentioned in quite a while. What's there to mention? No Garindan. Now that we've been hearing about so many new figs, this set has really dropped out of my attention. I'd gladly get another of the neat battlepacks (or two) instead. Besides, if there's anything new, it will be posted. It's not like there's someone with news just waiting to post it because you asked. Quote

CloneCommanderDelta7 Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Palpatine's shuttle sounds good, with the promising aspect of a new med-droid. Quote
Corvus Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Palpatine's shuttle sounds good, with the promising aspect of a new med-droid. I wonder...could we possibly be getting this guy? And before you say "But he was only in ESB!", yes, he did work on Anakin, alongside the multi-armed droid. Quote

And before you say "But he was only in ESB!", yes, he did work on Anakin, alongside the multi-armed droid. He would be really good to get because he is in a few of the movies and features a lot in the clone wars. I really like him but he would be quite hard to mould without having a slip on cover to a torso like chewies imo. Quote
Ras 74 Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 I will not bring pictures. Just said it cant be long now. A few days for me is all from 2-3 days up to 3-4 weeks really So be patience everyone and we will get it pretty soon I also would like to have the Med. Droid in the latest pic. here. Quote
ADHO15 Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 (edited) Snap, I missed that, that's awesome, so hopefully a new greivous (I know, I know, but I can wish right) and a Cad bane, I'll buy that set. Kim did 'confirm' a new Grievous as well. Whats with him getting speacial treatment, ADOH? When I answer your sig question with a spelling error, you patronise me! Well you just spelt my name wrong for starters. You at least get the answers right. I don't 'patronise' you, I just correct you. Cad Bane and GG in the same set won't surprise me. It hasn't been mentioned in quite a while. The pic we've seen was clear enough. You can easily tell what the set will consist of. I doubt there'll be much difference from the last one playability-wise. I wonder...could we possibly be getting this guy?And before you say "But he was only in ESB!", yes, he did work on Anakin, alongside the multi-armed droid. That's what I thought first, but we could just get an improved version of the 'multi-armed droid' that was in the 'Darth Vader Transformation' set. Edited November 25, 2009 by ADHO15 Quote
Darth Legolas Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 That's what I thought first, but we could just get an improved version of the 'multi-armed droid' that was in the 'Darth Vader Transformation' set. Well, if we got a med droid, which was also in the Clone Wars for the record, then we'd have to get a Bacta tank, and if we get a Bacta tank, we would have heard about it already. Quote

I'm not sure I follow your logic there. Why does there have to be a bacta tank? We'd know about it because it would be obvious to see in a display or catalogue, you mean? Quote
Oky Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Well, if we got a med droid, which was also in the Clone Wars for the record, then we'd have to get a Bacta tank, and if we get a Bacta tank, we would have heard about it already. ... and if we'd get a bacta tank, it wouldn't make much sense. Grievous would probably short circuit in one of those. And remember, the rumor is that it is a tan droid, and it would be pretty strange getting a med droid in tan. So, if anything, it'll be A4-D. The pic we've seen was clear enough. You can easily tell what the set will consist of. I doubt there'll be much difference from the last one playability-wise. How can you be so sure? It could have pull-back motor, or it could be a transformer. Or maybe TLG has been reading this thread and have made a last-minute decision to include the Garindan after all. Nah, just kidding. I agree of course. Quote

Your opinion isn't very logically for me. Or have you ever seen a bacta tank at ROTS?! Otherwise, the LEGO Company's thoughts aren't always logically. Let's hope the shuttle will be issued with a NEW "Burned Vader" with half-legs, the Emperor and some Coruscant Security Clone-Troopers. greetz Big Brick Quote

I can't, and if it ends up being a landspeeder Transformer, I'll happily take back what I said. Not likely, unfortunately. Just the 3 humans and 3 droids. Let's hope the shuttle will be issued with a NEW "Burned Vader" with half-legs, the Emperor and some Coruscant Security Clone-Troopers. sok has 'confirmed' that there will be a new Vader with a new flesh face and new torso and legs. He says he has the same helmet. I doubt he'd have 'half-legs', though. Edited November 25, 2009 by ADHO15 Quote
Oky Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 (edited) Maybe they'll give him dwarf legs. If the set does include Shock troopers, I hope they will have new helmets which are completely enclosed and maybe even have a face under the helmet. Edited November 25, 2009 by Oky Wan Kenobi Quote

ADHO15 Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 He didn't affirm some pilots (the ones of the new ARC-170) or Senat-Troopers?! No, but I doubt either of those would be in the set. Maybe an Imperial pilot, like the ones from the previous Imperial Shuttle sets, will be in this. By 'Senate troopers', I don't know if you mean Senate commandos or Imperial Royal Guards, but I assume it'll have one or two of the latter, as he was seen with them a lot in ROTS. We may have these and/or shock troopers, but we don't know yet. Quote
