cavegod Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 well i think all star wars mini figs should be yellow heads with smile and dot eyes!! Quote
DarthSion Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Then maybe this should have its own thread. Quote
Jar Jar Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Ha! This link prooves that the ARC is PT! http://www.flickr.com/photos/sirdano/4150056330/ Take that! Quote
DashIngG Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 (edited) Interesting pics, but no Tie Defender or Land Speeder in sight. Are they still set for januari? http://www.flickr.com/photos/sirdano/4149297265/ Edited December 1, 2009 by DashIngG Quote
chris_austin Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Ha! This link prooves that the ARC is PT! http://www.flickr.com/photos/sirdano/4150056330/ Take that! Will both pilots have 'visor' faces? Seems strange that one would and the other wouldn't... Quote
Forresto Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Here's a group of photos of the 2010 lineup I found on brickshelf. I give credit to CaptainRex110, here's a link to part of his gallery. Anyways I have to say i'm impressed with all these sets even the ones I did'nt like at first. If some one posted these already i'm sorry Quote

Big Cam Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Not really. Wedge's helmet is really quite different to that one, and as others have said, has already been made well by TLG. To quote myself (): Of course, the pilot is just supposed to be a generic fig, but can also be used as Zev to expand the Rebel pilot collection of those who want him to. This is the same loosing arguement as thr Veers in the imperial battlepack. LEGO won't put a main named charater in a battle pack since they are designed to be bought in multiples. Quote

What did I say at the end that you just quoted? Of course, the pilot is just supposed to be a generic fig, but can also be used as Zev to expand the Rebel pilot collection of those who want him to. Penitent Tangent Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Interesting pics, but no Tie Defender or Land Speeder in sight. Are they still set for januari?http://www.flickr.com/photos/sirdano/4149297265/ There's plenty pictures of the Defender going about. Not so much for the Land Speeder, but I assume that set will be exclusive to Lego stores, thus there won't be any leaked pictures from catalogues, or online stores, etc, going around for it. Quote
CommanderFox Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Those other new pics on Flickr look good! Still no CTT or shuttle? It's annoying how already 2010 Atlantis sets are out but not SW. Oh well, they will be here soon! CommanderFox Quote
Oky Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 (edited) Ha! This link prooves that the ARC is PT! http://www.flickr.com/photos/sirdano/4150056330/ Take that Awesome! Thanks for that pic! Finally we get a good look at those pilots, and I must say they look pretty sweet. I actually like it that one of them doesn't have a visor. I can use another Starkiller head, and if you want a visor, you can simply get the rebel BP and swap his head with that of the rebel pilot. R4-P17 is looking pretty sweet as well. And I really hope that this will stop the pointless discussions about whether this set is CW-based or not too. Edited December 1, 2009 by Oky Wan Kenobi Quote
Big Cam Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 The new helmets on the above picture look really great, the torso's go with them, flawlessly. Quote
Future74 Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Great find my padawan, I tought you well Yes my master Ha! This link prooves that the ARC is PT! http://www.flickr.com/photos/sirdano/4150056330/ Take that! Great detailed pictures of the minifigures! Thanks. I like the new helmets a lot. They finally look more like the ones seen in the beginning of episode 3. I think it's a big improvement to the old model. Here's a group of photos of the 2010 lineup I found on brickshelf. I give credit to CaptainRex110, here's a link to part of his gallery. Anyways I have to say i'm impressed with all these sets even the ones I did'nt like at first. If some one posted these already i'm sorry Thanks for giving me credit. lightningtiger Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Ah well, looks like the ARC is ROTS, good that saves me a hundred bucks for battle packs then. On the battle packs front, I think we are taking things a bit too serious, so what if the imperial officer is Veers or not, he could be General ChickenTonight it's Lego, kids will name them who ever they want to. I also guess that who took the photos may have missed the Tie Defender or Lukes Landspeeder. Quote
Ras 74 Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Nice found of that link Jar Jar! Really sweet to finally see the new helmets of the ARC guys. The better pictures is finally coming in Quote
CommanderFox Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Yay the pilots have dot eyes! been awhile since we had clones with dot eyes! Thanks for the pic Jar Jar The better pictures is finally coming in WooHoo! Can't wait to see crystal clear pics of the CTT, the shuttle and the Landspeeder. CommanderFox Quote
Darth Legolas Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 (edited) EDIT: Holy! Kit is spelled wrong! Ha! This link prooves that the ARC is PT! http://www.flickr.com/photos/sirdano/4150056330/ Take that! Well thank you my good man! I guess the whole fight ends here. So this also proves the helmets are new. Some nuts (not on Eurobricks) thought the ARC pilot helmets were old Rebel helmet molds... My guess is that the sets will come to America via ToysRus before Christmas. Last year my store got them in the day before, and I had to buy up every set right then too! Sisco Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Those helmets are amazing . Thank you, Jar Jar! ( Wow, never thought I'd ever say that.... ) Quote
Darth Hawken Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 those helmet are fantastic on the ARC one-seventy fighters but I wish they make kit fisto better I will have to buy that set and the rebel battle pack looks nice with the new helmets as well. Though the imperial battle pack could be better at least it comes with a new pilot abd two stormtroopers Quote
ILikePi Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 (edited) My thoughts on the sets: Battle Packs - We've already seen clearer pics, but seeing the old AT-AT pilot helmet makes me miss it so badly. Oh well, I can always purchase one on BrickLink in the future. Freeco Bike and Tri-Fighter Droid - Keeps getting better and better! I'll definitely be getting these. The minfigs are spectacular (rocket droid commander!). ARC-170 - Nice to know that the minifigs look that good. Hopefully the orange visor minifig head is a double sided one! R4-P17 R4-P44 (?) also looks interesting with the dark green head. Edited December 3, 2009 by ILikePi Quote
CommanderFox Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Hopefully the orange visor minifig head is a double sided one! Maybe both the pilots have the orange printing and have double sided faces. On the box art they could be showing both sides, so you could choose which side you wanted of the pilots face. CommanderFox Quote
Jar Jar Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 The pilots in the ARC have the same yellow Jango head in fleshie. I figured they would change it. Quote
RileyC Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 The helmets look really cool. They seem to look really great even with the large hunk missing from it which looks a lot more accurate. I thought it might look weird with the visor being printed on the face but I feel they have pulled it off really well. The droid looks really cool and I love the chrome head, I hope they keep doing that technique for new ones. The clearer pics look really good at I'm getting really excited for this next wave. The new rebels look great but for army builders because they don't have the same face (I'm not an army builder so it doesn't bother me that much). I like Derlin's moustache its very detailed. The new rebel hats look really great and a lot better than what they had this year. I love the new pilots helmet the design is incredible. It's a cool torso for the imperial officer but I'm disappointed that his helmet is dark grey. The new AT AT drivers helmet looks really great and not that over sized at all. Quote
starwarsfanatic Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 (edited) well i think all star wars mini figs should be yellow heads with smile and dot eyes!! I agree (except the dot eyes part) And that droid on the ARC is not R4-P17. This is R4-P17. Also, is it just me or does Captain Jag have a new torso yet the one known as pilot has the old one? EDIT: Corrected spelling mistake Edited December 2, 2009 by starwarsfanatic Quote
