Derek Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 This is Jessica Alba. A woman I would very much like to sleep with, but I never will because she'll never be made available to me. That fact makes me sad, sad enough to lament publicly about not being able to have her. Same thing with cool little LEGO promos, be they Power Miners, or Star Wars, or Castle. Experience tells me that the vast majority of LEGO promos will either not be available to me, or will be such a pain to acquire that they won't be worth it. That makes the raptor sad Nice comeback! And proven point! If anything, we are complementing the sets by expressing our frustration over the fact we might not have a chance at getting them... I really hope for you that you do get the chanse to sleep with Jessica Alba, or get al the Lego you want, it's up to you to choose ;) Quote
RileyC Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 The promos look cool especially the clone and droid ones. I dont know about the stormie one but why isnt there a rebel one aswell? Quote

Experience tells me...Are you saying you want to sleep with your Lego sets? I do however see your point.Wow, gone for a day or two and I already have to read through about six pages. The minis look interesting, although I'm not sure I really would want to buy them, but it all depends on availability. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Love the STAP and mini walker, but meh on the speeder. Think they could have done a better job on that one. Quote

RocketClone Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Are you telling us that you would like to sleep with someone rather than have so decent cheap LEGOs? Naw just kidding but seriously i would hope this would be a christmas promo for the LEGOs,Besides thats how my mini V-19 Quote
Alldarker Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 (edited) Apologies if someone else has posted it somewhere else, but the instructions for the 10198 Tantive IV are now available through Customer Service instructions downloads at Lego Online. Direct links: Part I Part II The transport vehicle, previously unseen I believe, is featured in step 53, in the second booklet. Looks a bit , as was to be expected, though... Reading LEGO instruction booklets are always a great way of seeing what the set is like. Quote
mutley777 Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Great find! Looks like there are no stickers in the whole set either! Quote

darkrebellion Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 These new promo sets are looking pretty neat in my opinion . The best one is definitely the STAP but mainly because I HAVE SEEN IT in a SW movie/comic/book. The other two look good but I still can´t understand why the TLC can´t produce REAL SW ships, I mean, c´mon there are plenty of small vehicles in SW like the Swoop Bikes . There are a lot of possibilities and they just keep throwing us this kind of invented stuff. Quote

Looks a bit , as was to be expected, though... Nice find! I think the transport vehicle is pretty neat. It's similar to the one at the end of the movie, but smaller. It's got some cheese slopes and a control panel- at the very least, it's a neat part pack. Quote
Darth Legolas Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 There's a transport in the Tantive IV? Can someone please post a non-pdf image? Also, I knew there were no stickers! Simply because printed makes happy and happy makes cash. Quote

Please .Well for one, the last sentence in my post was about the lasest pictures of Lego sets, which leads to me pointing out that there are absolutly no pictures in my post, and I clearly have no idea what you are talking about. There's a transport in the Tantive IV?Transport? What do you mean, like a very small detachable vehicle, or an escape pod? Quote

Darth Legolas Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 Sorry. I wasn't targeting you. THEY know whom I'm taking about [cough][cough] . I assume you're talking about the guys staring at the pic of Jessica Alba? Anyway, I'd love to see this transport, but my computer doesn't take PDFs really well. Can anyone gimme a pic? Quote
The Who Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 It's says two posts above. It says there is a transport vehicle with cheese slopes and some control panels, which doesn't tell me much.I guess I'll just have to find out the good old fashioned way by clicking the link. Quote

Darth Legolas Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 Don't pretend like you weren't. Let's get back on topic... Really, I need a picture of that transport. I had a good feeling there had to be something else stored inside the Tative IV with all that room. I'm guessing it looks just like the one in the AAT. Is it so hard for someone to give me a pic? Faramir Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 I, for one, happen to very much like the speeder. It reminds me of the type of maintainence ground vehicles we've seen in the past in sets like the new A-wing and the old X-wing, which are great for rebel hanger dioramas and such. Seriously, though, I'm astounded there are no pictures of any 2010 sets out there by now, except for that tiny Atlantis thumbnail... Quote
ILikePi Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 For those of you that are wondering, the dark green transport speeder is apparently supposed to carry the included dark grey container. Quote
