i searched for some custom made ideas and things and i always wanted to make my own custom made ship or buildings but there usually not that helpful most of the custom made creations are awesome and great but i wanted to make a simple ship than begin to change it a little.

Do you have the hull and sails and all of that?

yes i do have them but there not one of those fabric or paper ones i made them my own out of lego

To be honest im not sure what you are asking for?

You say you want to make a ship and change it a little. So i guess they best place to start would be to play around with the existing lego ship sets, and then start modifying them to make improvements. If you share your photos on here then im sure lots of people will be more than happy to offer constructive criticism for further improvement.

You could always look at the pirate mocs to see what other people have done. you can use these for inspiration, and to see what techniques other people are using. Asking the person who built the moc for tips regarding certain features would also yield some tips!

just start building and see what you come up with, thats the beauty of lego

Try looking through the Pirate MOC forum, there are tons of threads with customs ships, and MOC's of all kinds.

Without more specifics, it's hard to help you.
