Help would be appreciated for a basic car design

I'm in the midst of a drive-thru burger joint MOC and need some simple (and cheap ) designs for cars seeing as I just started with Town stuff and the only car I have is from Harry Potter. Anyone willing to help?

You could get new Small Car sets which are cheap. You could also get the fireman impulse sets and MOD them into a car.

Look up some of the instructions of recent City cars (like 3177) on LEGO's building instructions site if that's what you mean. If you're looking for more advanced techniques, check out some of the car MOCs posted here in the Town forum, on Classic-Town.net, or on LUGnuts.

I think you're best bet would be to purchase a car set. You can get a simple car and a minifig together for $5 tops. Not that bad, considering you'll have all of the pieces, a minifig to drive the car, and most of the car sets come with alternative building types, so if you wanted another kind of car, you have choices abroad. =)

The cheapest car set I've seen was 3 dollars.

I sugguest too buy a set, like 3177 or 8402 or even wait for 8404 public transport for it's new sports car.

'Rick's right you could also use plans for the above cars or go Peeron.com for some classic 1980's car plans.

I would get my hands on a few of the police car sets. If you don't apply the stickers, they make for a great civilian car. Beyond that, the small car set, as well as the sports car are both excellent civilian cars, and if you need it, the camper van would work at a drive thru as well.

just bought two small cars and two sports cars! Sitll need to get the RV and the 4WD
