CMP Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 ....it looks nothing like the old Magma Mech. Looks crazy! I like the color scheme. Quote
ProducePrincess Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 I really like it's asymetrical style and although the location of the lower cockpit doesn't make much sense it still looks really cool and unique. It doesn't look too much like an overhauled magma mech seeming that it ditched the lime green and went for a nice minty sand green. Really great work , one of your best! Ps Thanks for ditching the horrid blue drill Quote
LegoDad42 Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 I'll go out on a limb here and say a much improved Magma Mech... LOVE IT! The split level cockpits is a nice unique look. Love the legs and feet too. Quote
Algernon Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 ...whoa. I wish LEGO would sell sets like this instead of running down bare-bones designs with an excess of play features. Great job. Quote
The Eye Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Now that's an overhaul. Looks amazing, like something out of some poor Rock Monster's nightmares. Or even in my own. Nice job. Quote
Optimus Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 I don't really see how this relates to the magma mech, it looks nothing like it, in fact it's a completely different and better mech. That said this is really great, I love how you did the legs and the offset cockpit looks great! So many details in those legs, they're so complex. Great use of a lot of strange parts to put in all those neat details. Quote
sok117 Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 I don't get it, is the magma mech suppose to be being squashed underneath his foot? I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't even use any parts from the offical set besides the fig. That said I do like the look of this, the gunner turret looks really cool onto of the pilots legs, Awesome job, and the long barrel gun is really cool to, but what piece is that? Quote

I do believe that piece was the one used in Lego hovercrafts as a sort of bumper. Quote
crazylegoman Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 This is a great MoC, but I don't see how it relates to Power Miners. Looks like it belongs more in Sci-Fi. Quote

And I don't see why you ''bumped'' this topic. Anyway that MOC is amazing! I agree that it looks nothing like the Magma Mech but that doesn't stop it from being amazing! Great job! Quote
