10210 admiral's daughter dress

May I know do we all get 2 dresses from the 10210 as the picture below? Or it is only available to early sets as Lego made a mistake?

Sadly, I got my 10210 recently and it only comes with 1 dress. (Only the correct colour one)

I only got one in both of mine, I assume it was a mistake in early sets that was soon rectified.

The dress with the red highlights was in a bag inside the box whereas the dress with blue highlights (the correct dress) was in the box loose. This lead me to believe that they discovered the mistake just before the boxes were sealed and had to toss in the correct dress piece as it was being packed. I bought mine the day it came out and it had both of the dress pieces. I still have the red one just sitting around in a drawer here because I have nothing to use it on.

When I got my IFS it came with two dresses. One in a bag and one loose. I contacted TLG and found out that it was a mistake in some of the earlier IFS. I guess that they fixed the mistake by now and you got one of the correct ones.

Mistake? A woman like that needs a dress for every occassion - you should see how many are in her wardrobe

Any time you get extra pieces in a set is awesome! Especially when they are rare mistake parts.

Mine was from the second batch (I think; it appeared, sold out, restocked, and I bought it soon after), and it had it. Once the initial demand was over they probably fixed the problem that caused this and/or ran out of the "wrong" dress.

that's odd, When I oppend the IFS, the both dresses were in a plastic bag, as every brick.

I have to say that I bought the IFS on january 1st, the same day TLG start to sell it

if it is a mistake or not, well, I think is the chance to TLG make another upper part of that dress, I kind of twin sister of the admiral's daugther

I bet the price of the red dress will sky rocket on bricklink! They cost about $6-7 at this time. Glad I bought it when it was fairly cheap. The red dress works fine with this torso:
