RileyC Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 Sure, making them look more realistic lets you do a lot more things with the figs. But you lose some of the "pizazz" the minifig has. The minifig is simplistic that anyone can recognise it. 4+ figs imo, are ugly. The ears are weird and I dont think elbow and knee joints make the fig better at all. Quote

The discussion of added posability was sort of an offshoot of the conversation about whether simplicity was an essential quality of LEGO figures. So far, the Technic, Belville, Galidor, and Scala figs are the only ones to have elbow and knee poseability than a typical fig (and of those, all but the Technic figs are more dolls or action figures than minifigs of any variety). happymark Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 I just sold all my 4+ figs on ebay.. just a few dollars. but better to throw them away or occupy space :) I have a few 4+ figs too. My son unloaded them on me once he got to age 8. He was fine playing with them and the regular mini-figs before then. I haven't figured out what to do with them yet. Maybe some creatures from outer space or land of giants MOC? Quote
