Tycho McKorley Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Very, very cute. I wish TLC would actually make some of these. :-) Quote

prateek Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Great job! The cheese slopes really make it work well Quote
Brickdoctor Posted July 9, 2010 Author Posted July 9, 2010 The cheese slopes really make it work well Pun intended? Thanks, also. Quote
Sir Dillon Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Nice little well! However, the two headlight bricks supporting the beams look ungainly. I don't think it would be possible to lower them a brick, but would a 1 x 1 Technic brick fit between the two Travis bricks? Turned on its side, it could be used as the beam's support without sticking up above the rest of the well. I've edited the frontpage post for you. Quote
badboytje88 Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 Instructions please, because this is just brilliant. Quote
Jippon Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 Wow that is nice, I might just try to build one for my own market village! Thanks! Quote

Thanks, and it would, but it would get in the way of the 1x1 round brick/bucket that goes down the center. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted July 11, 2010 Author Posted July 11, 2010 (edited) Instructions please, because this is just brilliant. I forgot that studs can't go into Technic brick holes in LDD, but here's the cutaway shot: Enjoy! Note: The 6-wide base was meant to be sunk into an old Belville plate, it's not required. The 1x1 with studs on two sides below the normal structure is not required either, it's there because the friend I was building this for didn't have another backpack with stud piece like used on the front of the well. SirWacky Posted July 11, 2010 Posted July 11, 2010 Enjoy! WOW! I think I'll have to build my own now! I just cant resist Quote
TheWarden Posted July 11, 2010 Posted July 11, 2010 I like it. Though to be critical, it looks strange to me without a roof area. I have the image of a well with a roof over it to keep out leaves, sun, etc. Don't most wells of this sort have these? Quote
Ezechielle Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Incredible technic! I would never have thought about it! Well done Quote
legotrainfan Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 I love your well! I think it's little things as your well that can give a castle layout the necessary touch. Your creation should be an impulse set! Quote
