Hi absolutelylez. My photo is on Photobucket. Yes, you may post it up on flickr if you'd like.

Back to photos:

The Claw, it chooses. Farewell my friends, I am off a better place.

It's the first time I've tried Lego Photography this close.

You can clearly see all the dents and bruises as well as dust in these photos :(

Bandits! Shot with a Nikon D3000, kit 18-55 lens with macro filters, no flash, indirect natural light. Very little editing on these - none of the usual background washing I like to do.

^^ That's a great photo, Carbohydrates - beautifully composed and with perfect lighting. One of the best I've seen, it rivals Smokebelch's on the SW Forum.

Pretty good. The Mayor/President/King sure looks like me. :sweet:

Dusting before doing macro or close up type shots will help.

Uh oh... looks like the cheerleader's been a bit too cheery with the football team.

So... I was searching for "photography" and came across this thread, I was wondering what people use to take pictures. The lighting in my house typical... not good for most digital photography. Using flashes often makes the pictures look terrible. I'd like to make a light box, but don't have a lot of room. Moreover, the castle I'm building now is too big for a light box.

So I have one of those display boards:

I'd like to get an alternate color (for now I have a light blue roll of paper I can use). I was going to get a couple of clip on lights and rig some kind of diffuser. Then I could put the display board in front of a WIP without having to move it. Was wondering if anyone had any other ideas for photographing their LEGO on the cheap.

Okay hope this goes here. (if not could some one point me in the right direction?) I did some quick photography out side with my Spartans. (Sorry about the double post but I thought it was okay)
