I live in the UK and i'm a big fan of the TV series, Friends, i'm just wondering what sort of appeal it has in the rest of Europe, as it is primarily an american show.

When I'm watching tv and there's nothing good on, I might watch it. Not a big fan though, but it's pretty entertaining :-)

Same here! Well, they are actually my sisters but I like it too.

Friends is great becuase you can watch any episode and not have to know all the stuff that happened before it, such as the OC or LOST. Its a really great comedy, too bad it ended.

I watched it for some time too, but I do not have TV at the moment, and they just show repetitions here in Germany I think. But there were much funny episodes... :'-)

Don't call me wierd now, but Ive only heard of it, never seen it. Its in Canal 5, a channel I cant get. :-(

If I'm just flicking through channels and I come across then I watch it. I think it's funny and one time I was extremely close to buying it on dvd

Its a really great comedy, too bad it ended.

I think it's good it's over. Season 9 was pretty bad, Season 10 got better, but it was obvious that crew and writers were kinda "finished". It ended quite ok and that's how it's supposed to be remembered :-)

At some time last year, I got news of the cast returning to do a new series with massive paychecks. Most of the actors have not done anything in the mean time (have you seen Matthew Perry or Courteny Cox in anything else since?) and the spinoff Joey got cancelled.

One can only hope.

Rumor had it the cast would return for a movie. Turned out to be just that - a rumor.

As for the actors, Matthew Perry played numerous roles, some of them next to Friends. So did Cox, although not that successful...
